We are aware that on bank holidays there may be a short wait for the shower. We went for quality rather than quantity. It is more than adequate the rest of the season. We will monitor the situation going forward.

Van de manager: Thank you for leaving us a feedback much appreciated. We note you have scored a low score for facilities and activities and also WIFI. We do state on Pitchup details that Wifi is not provided and what facilities we have. As you know we are a rural farm site with good value pitch fees at £22 pn, were we to add WIFI and more activities the pitch fee would have to rise substantially to make it viable. As economy and footfall is uncertain we are loathe to do this.

Ik was blij met Lovely owners and a very nice overall vibe at the campsite, nice level ground for pitches. Close to a local pub with decent food and easy to get to the coast by car.
There is a £2 charge to use the shower, but it was the cleanest, safest, most comfortable shower i have ever used at a campsite, so well worth paying £2!

Ik was blij met It’s very well organised. Clean and tidy. Lots of open space and a lovely play area for kids. Toilets and shower were the cleanest I’ve seen on a camping site. Would definitely recommend and return.

Ik was blij met We were given a very friendly welcome and introduction to the site and facilities. The pitch was flat and tidy, the shower room was lovely, even though there was only one for the whole site we didn't have to wait. Same goes for the toilet block. We walked to a lovely pub 10 minutes up the road. We were there for Cadwell BSB which was 20 minutes away. We'd definitely stay here again.

Ik was blij met Everywhere was extremely well maintained and very clean, even down to the porta loos that were extra to the toilet block.
Wardens/owners are friendly and very helpful.
Lovely quiet site that caters for children with a small play area and ball games allowed in the bigger field.

Ik was niet blij met Only one shower as far as I could see (there may have been another one in the men’s toilet?) but I would imagine when the site is at capacity, there would be a long queue. The shower room was very clean though.

Thank you very much for your review. Pleased you enjoyed your stay. We do have one shower room, albeit a quality rather than quantity. We do state on Pitchup that there is only one shower on site. A lot of our guests have their own facilities in their caravans or motorhomes.

It would only be on main bank holidays when there is likely to be more tents that there may be a short wait at peak times. If we were to invest in more showers and facilities it would mean we would have to charge significantly more per night than £22. We are constantly monitoring the situation however.

Ik was blij met Nice flat site, plenty of pitch space. Just one female toilet. For me wasn't an issue as the site was quiet. Shower was lovely. Washing up area is outside, no hot water but you boil a kettle. Owners were friendly and helpful.

Many thanks for your review. We do have one ladies toilet plus toilet in the shower room. As most caravans and motor homes have their own facilities that is sufficient for tent users. Somewhat puzzled by road noise comment. There is a long entrance from the road through to the camping paddocks. We have two paddocks one leading to the other four acres in total. As you can choose your pitch you could have gone into the rear paddock if you wished. We have never had a comment about road noise in any previous reviews. I can only assume as the site is quiet and peaceful you can hear traffic in the distance but it is not very close to the main road.

We are continuing to update and improve where possible whilst trying to keep pitch fees as reasonable as possible. We do have a sun canopy if very hot for the washing up area.
