Hillcrest Views Campsite

Mi è piaciuto: Lovely site with gorgeous views. Spacious pitches with good privacy. Very clean and good quality, well-maintained facilities. Roger and Amy very friendly and helpful.

Non mi è piaciuto: Slight disappointment car business behind our pitch were constantly revving engines throughout the day. Boy racer type revving at 9am on a Sunday! Was lovely and peaceful at night though.

Mi è piaciuto: Very well presented gravel pitch fully supported, lovely views , camping pitches seperated by well kept hedges

Non mi è piaciuto: We were given detailed text from lady who owns it , which was good , but it was still hard to find the entrance to the lane to the site , it’s between two houses with no signage which would help , it seems like it’s a work in progress tbh , you drive through a small industrial estate ,which was formerly the farm yard , which seemed odd 🤷‍♂️facilities looked clean but rustic , staff friendly

Mi è piaciuto: Great location central to everything we wanted to visit. Illogan village within easy walking distance with a pub, bakery,great fish and chips and a really good Indian takeaway.

Non mi è piaciuto: My only criticism would be the lack of heating in the shower toilet block which wasn't a problem until our last morning when it was windy and chilly.

Mi è piaciuto: Loved everything about the site from the moment we booked. Regular texts welcoming us and providing info we would need about site and local area. Greeted on arrival by the lovely Amy and shown about on site and then shown to our pitch which I will add are very roomy too. Campsite is spotless thanks to Roger - hedges between the pitches and fields kept neat , toilets and showers squeaky clean too. Showers great too for people with children as they had double shower rooms - great for a family . Perfect site for people who love the views of rolling hills and cows. Ideal location too for wizzing off to see all Cornwall has to offer. Lovely and quiet too . Will definitely be returning so we can see how they’re growing as a newish site. Thank you for helping make our much needed return to Cornwall so much better. Such a personal service from them that makes all the difference as nothing was too much bother , like hiring a fire pit for the evening x
