Mi è piaciuto Peacefull surroundings, clean and tidy, nice walk for dogs, staff friendly, on arrival everything explained and shown to pitch, good space between pitches, shower blocks clean and tidy

Non mi è piaciuto Meter charge for electric, having to check meter regular making sure it hasnt run out, you do get £3.50 free per day, so if you run out coming to the end of your stay, you have to top it up

We are sorry to hear that you didn't like being given a meter. As we are now in low season, and are trialing these, we have started to use them. We are sure that you will understand that due to the horrendous price of electric this is something that more and more campsites are doing. For us it is better to do it this way than increase the price of the pitch.

Before you arrive, we will pre-load your meter ready for you with £3.50 per nights worth of units, you receive this as part of the price you have paid for the pitch. We will show you how to use the meter and make sure that you are happy with understanding how it works before we leave you and we are always on hand to help. We do ask you to check it every night before the office shuts at 5pm for your own peace of mind as we wouldn't like you to run out overnight. In the time we have been using them, no one has ever done this and our customers rarely have to top up as generally, £3.50 per day covers normal usage.

Mi è piaciuto Well sized, clean warm showers. Nice flat area to pitch your tent and the site seems to be very well sheltered from the wind despite its high elevation…we were there at the tail end of storm Amy.

Non mi è piaciuto Can’t really think of any dislikes, if you are looking to pitch a tent in the area near the Pilgrims Way you can’t go wrong.

Mi è piaciuto Lots of space and the grounds are well kept.

The showers and loos are very good, as each is an enclosed wetroom with its own shower loo and basin.

Non mi è piaciuto The turn out on to the A249 is interesting in a heavy camper.

We have to agree regarding the A249; we would always advise avoiding rush hour if possible because of the heavier flow of traffic and we would advise campers also to turn left and go to the roundabout further down rather than cross the dual carriageway as in a larger camper or with a caravan on the back, you find yourself sitting there such a long time waiting.

Mi è piaciuto Very peaceful and a very warm welcome
Helped when required
Clean toilet block
Not much noise from airplanes as it is on a flight path
I would say it worth paying extra for power ( kettle is ideal )
Has a washer dryer room ( extra cost to use )

Non mi è piaciuto Need more signs from main road
May be a little playground for kids and adults. Near by
A few low light around the road so people can see they say to the toilet at night.
