Il Church Lane Campsite offre un'esperienza tranquilla e spartana in una bellissima campagna, vicino a Kendal e Windermere. Apprezzati i proprietari gentili, i servizi puliti con docce calde e piazzole spaziose. Nel complesso, buon rapporto qualità-prezzo e tranquillità. Consigliato per la natura e la comodità per esplorare il Lake District.

Mi è piaciuto I liked that fact that I could pitch next to my motorbike. The showers and toilets were immaculately clean. The site is on a slope but there are numerous level pitches
Non mi è piaciuto Slight slope to the site nothing to get concerned about even camping at the top and riding a motorcycle down in the rain 😊 The site was difficult to ride to using google maps but well sign posted when near by so didn’t need the what three words which is available.

Mi è piaciuto We loved our stay here - this was our first ever camping trip too! The facilities are basic, however for a short stay it’s great value. The highlight for us was the location, the site is only around a 5/10 minute drive to Bowness/Windermere which has a great array of restaurants/bars and of course the stunning lake, we hired a self drive boat for lake windermere which cost just around £40pp for 2 hrs - we booked this at a lakeside ticket desk. The site is also a short drive from Ambleside, where i’d recommend starting a beautiful circular walk that takes in Rydal waters and Rydal Caves (i used the ‘all trails’ app for that walk). The site owners also seemed to visit the site most evenings and were so helpful, kind and welcoming. The shower’s we’re basic but had hot water and did the job, the site does use portaloo’s which we’re a little rough to be totally honest, however they were kept as clean as possible. Overall we had a great stay and would certainly return!

Mi è piaciuto Great site, the guys working were so so helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back. The showers were amazing and so was the location.
Service/data was abit in and out but I managed to receive and send messages when required.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely well maintained site with great facilities that are regularly cleaned. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a lovely stay here. A short drive to Windermere

Mi è piaciuto Lovely pop up campsite across 2 fields. Pitch where you want. Good portaloos kept clean. 2 showers - which were lovely and warm. 2 sinks for washing / washing up ... Sometimes small queues but nice to chat with others. Lovely views. 2 good pubs .. best to drive not walk. Bank holiday weekend and it great. Nice staff running it. And only 20 mins or so from Windermere. Good fun. Thanks to the team.
