Campeggio selvaggio e tranquillo con viste spettacolari, ricco di fauna selvatica. Ospiti soddisfatti per la quiete e il cielo stellato. Ottimo pub vicino. Servizi essenziali (portaloos, no acqua corrente) e prezzo sono stati un limite per alcuni. Erba bagnata notata.

Mi è piaciuto Amazing view, lovely wall down the the reservoir, cows in the neighbouring field were very quiet and friendly, big field and we were the only people there, minimal facilties were fine for one night

Mi è piaciuto Really good rural site with facilities. Stunning views and really peaceful. Beautiful view of the stars and lots of wildlife.

Mi è piaciuto Large space to pitch up & space between campers.Clean portaloo, someone came each day to clean and refill toilet roll. Bin on site. Great location with great views. Close to reservoirs, 13 min drive to nearest supermarket. Will come back.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely spot: remote, peaceful and quiet. This is real back to basics camping, close proximity to farm animals which the kids loved. Porterloos were clean.

Mi è piaciuto It was fine. Easy to find and really quiet. There were good views and nice walks all around.

Great basic base with great views, wildlife and stargazing

Mi è piaciuto Very few other campers meaning a peaceful taste of wild camping. We had a clear night so amazing views of the full moon and for stargazing. Also spotted swallows, a buzzard, owls, bats and hares (along with the farm's sheep and cows). The Sun Inn is a 25 min walk and did good food at reasonable price, as well as pool table to use. Only portaloos but they were very clean, and stocked with some hand soap/toilet roll. Basic but all you need.
Non mi è piaciuto The grass is quite long, so wet/dewy in the morning but it is just a field - if you want something fancy, book elsewhere!

Dal gestore: Thanks for the great review, super pumped you enjoyed your stay at Swinsty View! The field has now been mowed so there’s less dewy grass about. It would be great for you guys to come back and enjoy the campsite and Sun Inn as much as we do!
