Greenwick Farm

Mi è piaciuto: This place is perfect - so lovely and peaceful. The cabin has everything you need which is so great - just need food and clothes. It is really well thought out and having the bathroom contained with, with a good shower, a decent size and proper facilities is brilliant. Beds are comfy. Having the grass outside is great and even though I didn't use the tv much it was great to have one with such a good reception. I can't fault it. It was perfect for travel to and around York area as well as the coast. Having cars parked right outside made packing and unpacking very easy but it was hidden behind a hedge so felt private. The only thing I'd change is having a gate on the area so I could have let my dog off his lead, but I bought a long lead and tied him to the fence so that was a good thing and it wouldn't stop me coming again. Perfect having microwave etc to cook. I did bring my own chair for outside for comfort but that was just a 'nice to have' as there is outdoor tables etc. WIFI wasn't strong but I didn't need it and had good signal there anyway.

Mi è piaciuto: Last minute booking for us and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed, lovely and secluded and so quiet. The cabins are compact but have everything you would need for a couple of nights. We had the site to ourselves and our dog, there was just enough room in the cabin for the three of us (we have a large labradoodle). The bathroom is spacious and the decking and outside area is perfect for outdoor dining.

The location is a bit remote but there is plenty to do within 1hr drive. Perfect for walkers.

Mi è piaciuto: Return visit for us. Lovely pods with everything you need. Ideally positioned for a trip to York or the coast.
Peaceful, and saw the barn owl.

Mi è piaciuto: Lovely pod with the added bonus of its own bathroom including shower, well kept and in a nice quiet location. 10 mins drive from Pocklington where you will find some lovely pubs and shops.

Non mi è piaciuto: Pods could do with a lick of stain as they looks a little tired from the outside

Mi è piaciuto: Abserloutly lovely stay. The cabin had everything you needed. So peaceful. Just what we needed a break from a hectic work life. Very clean. Lovely village and local pub. Bit of a walk away but only a 5 minute drive. Will definitely return.

Mi è piaciuto: So peaceful and full of birdlife, including resident barn owls.

We have stayed in a lot of pods and this was probably the best and most thoughtfully set up of all of them, with the bathroom being surprisingly spacious. Everything was immaculately clean and well provisioned. The outside set up is great too - a decent porch, a good deck, a nice lawn in front of the pods and a small meadow beyond it for the wildlife.

We were lucky enough to be able to arrive early as there was no one in the pod the night before (I texted Fran to ask if 2pm check in was possible instead of the advertised 4pm and was told "any time you what"!), which gave us time to go for a walk in the wonderful local countryside...Tun Dale is stunning, and the walk to get there through the woodland nature reserve is well worth it.
