Mi è piaciuto: The piggyback field is great if you want great views and it's a more peaceful stay as it's a bit further away from the facilities and glamping but it is open so you will feel the weather more

Non mi è piaciuto: Cafe/Pizza hut closed but understandable as it was out of season when we stayed

Mi è piaciuto: Loved the glamping feel and its quirkiness. Hot tub was a massive hit and was exactly what we needed. It was lovely and clean and provided the basic essentials.

Non mi è piaciuto: Could be more clear about the towels as was only provided with a hand towel. Could also include the Quilt is feathered as for my partner who is asthmatic caused abit of a problem.

Mi è piaciuto: Convenient location for Yorkshire Coast.
Tidy site with good facilities.
We were moved to a more sheltered location on request as we were in a roof tent with a gazebo annex.

Non mi è piaciuto: We would like to see another toilet block towards the furthest areas, though not overly busy during our stay, you may have to wait for showers and toilets during peak periods.

Original booking allocation was too exposed for forecast weather (Though we were grateful to be moved - Pitch-Up needs a Roof Tent category as the requirements are often different to Tents or Camper Vans )

Too close to noisy campers (But that was after being moved)

Wi-Fi is charged per device, per day - Not had to pay before now

We are sorry to hear about noisy campers ... our office is open daily so guests can let us know of any queries, possible issues etc, and we always endeavour to help as much as possible.
Re: WiFi: we provide WiFi onsite which is payable per device. It is worth noting there is a reasonable to good phone signal at the top of the site (near Piggy Back) for guests to use data.

Mi è piaciuto: Amazing site! A great family feel to it and very safe and secure. Lots of farm animals too keep little ones occupied plus wildlife, we saw a hare and an owl in the evenings! Lovely clean facilities. We would love to return next summer

Non mi è piaciuto: There is no signal at all, so even just to check the weather forecast and plan your day if it's raining was difficult.
The ladies changing rooms would benefit from a little stool to put your clothes inside the cubicle.

As you state there isn't a phone signal on the main site but there is a good signal at the top of the site.
There is also WiFi available if required.

Mi è piaciuto: Cleanliness of site.
Family friendly, no noise at night.
Good location.

Non mi è piaciuto: Food at the Hive expensive. Menu said burger included chips but was extra £13 for burger and chips take away is quite expensive.
Could do with a couple more bins as these were full.
Also a dog exercising field would be good.

We appreciate your comments about the food.
The food is freshly prepared onsite by our team and if any of our guests feel there is perhaps an error in the charging, then our office and The Hive staff would be happy to assist once the issue is raised with them.
We are working farm and as such we have our beautiful farm walks (three in total).
Due to livestock dogs do need to be on leads, however there are several dog friendly beaches close by which are suitable for pooches.
We hope you enjoyed your stay overall and thank you again for joining us.

In answer to your other comments:
Our office is open daily from 9am so guests can certainly pop in and let us know if they have any feedback etc.
We are always endeavour to help where possible.
The ground is chalk based here and there is a note in the relevent section of the FAQs to this effect; we also have extra tent pegs available to purchase in our onsite shop/reception.
The WiFi is avail for those who would like to use it and a small fee applies; however there is a good phone signal at the top of the site for most if not all networks.
