A aimé : Such a lovely campsite - relaxed atmosphere, spacious pitches, modern and clean toilets/showers/laundry area and amazingly friendly and helpful hosts. Look out for event nights as the food is great and it's a relaxing evening meeting others on the site. The local village is lovely too with an easy stroll to the local swimming pool and friendly owners of bars/cafes in the area.

A aimé : A perfect stay from beginning to end. Greated on arrival by Fiona......despite the unseasonal rain. Plenty of useful info given regarding the local area......and accompanied with a free glass of wine. Beautiful site amoungst the trees and orchard. Very quiet and only a short walk to the village. Alasdair cooked in the barn on our second night and we got the chance to further meet other guests and locals. All in all a very relaxing few days.

A aimé : Small relaxed site, good facilities including bar and food (not every night). Easy walking distance to the village with bars and restaurants and swimming pool. Pitches are irregular not privet edged boxes

N'a pas aimé: Some people didn't like the free range chickens.

A aimé : Amazing place to stay, quiet and tranquil yet short walk to town. Very welcoming host, can order bread to be delivered in the morning, eggs available and also do small occasional events like drinks in the vineyards - would very much recommend.

A aimé : Loved everything! Great spot fantastic owners and lots of add on touches. Like home from home showers, use of washing machine, local bread and so much more… you will have to visit to find out the rest..

A aimé : Quiet location with good sized, level pitches. Good, clean facilities
A warm welcome by the hosts on arrival.
The Monday supper evening was a lovely way to meet other guests - and food was delicious.
Would definitely stay again.

A aimé : Everything ! A beautiful, peaceful site. Very pretty grounds with planting to give privacy. Facilities were very clean and had everything needed for a perfect stay. Fiona and Alisdair are wonderful hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We were greeted with a glass of wine and shown around. Fresh bread/croissants are available every day if required which is a lovely start to any day. The location is perfect for a short walk to the village which has a beautiful lake walk, restaurants and outdoor swimming pool. We had a fantastic meal cooked by Alisdair and eaten in the barn, a really happy evening ! We stayed four nights but wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Fiona and Alisdair😊

Nous sommes conscients que votre séjour chez nous a été très court et qu'il s'est déroulé un peu plus loin que prévu, de sorte que vous n'avez pas pu faire l'expérience de la vie quotidienne au Poteau. Le Poteau n'est pas situé sur une trajectoire de vol commerciale, le bruit des avions est donc rare, mais il arrive très occasionnellement que les militaires effectuent des manœuvres. Nous sommes vraiment désolés que cela se soit produit pendant votre bref séjour. merci encore
