A aimé : Glad a sink has been affected to the bathroom.
N'a pas aimé: We had very little wood or kindling for the stove, considering the size of the box there was only enough for 1 night. The catch on the door to the stove was so tight to open we had to leave it propped shut . There was an apple core under the double bed and lots of small pieces of slate on the carpet. I appreciate that the flooring must be difficult to vac without electricity but I don't feel this is acceptable. The frying pan handle needed tightening...to have a wobbly handle on such a large heavy pan when cooking on a camping stove is dangerous. There were numerous large lumps under the flooring. We visited the dens 2 years ago and had a lovely time..this time I feel the attention to detail has dropped considerably. I could feel every spring on the double bed mattress.

A aimé : We booked a last minute two night stay and it definitely didn’t disappoint. Beautiful location with stunning views. The children loved the stream which is right by the tents - it feels super private and the kids could have played there for hours. The tent had everything we needed and felt so cozy. Can’t wait to visit again.

A aimé : Lovely and clean tent and bedding. The private wc and shower shed is genius. Great welcome phone call before we arrived and number to call was really good too. Also loved the compostable toilet.

A aimé : It's a gorgeous location and the owners are absolutely lovely. We went last year and would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely quiet getaway off grid.

A aimé : We loved our stay and hope to book again in the future. Beautiful location, kids loved paddling in the water. Clean and comfortable.
N'a pas aimé: There was no internet, but this wasn't a problem for us. We appreciated the break from devices.

A aimé : We went for a 2 night get away and it was just what we needed. The site was in a stunning location and very clean. The tent was lovely and perfect for our family of 6 and 2 dogs. It was a great location for days out or you could just go on beautiful walks in the local area. We loved it.

A aimé : We loved our stay. The facilities were clean, neat, comfortable and tidy. Owner was very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The river just in front of the bell tents is an added bonus and feels like your own "private" beach.

A aimé : We really enjoyed our stay here! The view was so lovely to wake up to, we liked how there wasn’t too many people around and it was very nice and peaceful. The interior of the tent was very cozy, we loved the fire place which kept us nice and warm in the night time. The owner was very helpful as my daughter left her teddy there and she kindly posted it to us! We had much needed family time which was very nice as we could relax and get away for a bit xx
