A aimé : Great site, well looked after and maintained. The showers and toilets where the best I e seen in a log time and they even had the local radio playing all day.
The radio was a great touch I've never seen anywhere and ended up having a slightly longer shower due to it.
Staff friendly and helpful when showing the site and how to get to the pitch.
Wish I had a longer stay than the 1 night but would use again if ever back this way
Even had cute bunny rabbits on site as well
N'a pas aimé: The only downside and it's nothing to do with the site but a train had gone past at lkke 11pm and a 2nd I heard at god knows what time in the morning didn't help but the site can't stop the train running.

We are sorry the train disturbed your sleep. The first train leaves Wick station at 06:18 in the morning and the last train gets into the station at 22:52, and there are only a few other trains running during the day. Wick station is an end of line station and is only a few hundred yards up the track from the campsite, so luckily the trains are going very slowly when they pass the campsite in either direction and generally do not cause a disturbance to our guests

Shop on site if you needed anything.
Nice walks for the dogs.
N'a pas aimé: The only thing we disliked was been direct near the children's play area.

We are sorry you did not like your pitch near the childrens play area. If you ever visit us again and something like that happens, please just come to reception and we will do our utmost to move you to another pitch if one is available.

N'a pas aimé: Three out of four showers were cold and the weather at the time was very cold. One staff member not friendly.

Réponse du gestionnaire : We are sorry that you found 3 out of four showers cold. The male and female toilets both have 6 shower cubicles in each, and due to our building being Net Zero with Air Source Heat Pumps to heat the water, and having water saving devices installed, each set of six showers is controlled from a single temperature control valve which is set around 40°c. If one shower is warm then they should all be warm, however, sometimes if you are first in the showers in the morning you need to be patient and wait just a little longer for the warm water to come from the hot water storage tanks in the plant room. This might explain why you found the 4th shower warm as the hot water had travelled to the 4th shower by the time you had tried it. If you had tried the 1st shower again you would have likely found this was now warm.
We are also sorry that you found one of our members of staff to be unfriendly. As you will see from other reviews on Pitch Up and Google, many people comment on how friendly and helpful our staff are, and this is something we take great pride in.
