A aimé : Beautiful scenery , friendly people running the site , toilets and showers clean a lovely little park and lots of grass to play on enjoyed it very much not far from the beach would definitely come back

A aimé : Clean campsite, friendly staff and only 10 mins from the beach.

A aimé : Host was lovely. There was a park for the kids and the facilities were in good order. There is a little shop on site as well.

A aimé : We stayed during storm Lillian. So we experienced some pretty dramatic weather during our stay, but even with that we had a wonderful time. We were welcomed to the site and shown our pitch. Pitch size was lovely and we have a 6 man tent.
The showers and toilet facilities were great. There were plenty of taps with drinking water accessible throughout the site. There was a laundry area, but we didn't need to use that so can't comment, but did see people using it.
There are great places for the kids to play, a shop on site which includes things like air beds which was great as one of ours burst while we were there. They also had some affordable beach toys as well as the usual camping shop norms you would expect to get.
The campsite is well lit, and there are lights around the camp site that stay on all night which make getting to the toilet in the night a lot easier than other places we've stayed.
There are multiple bins throughout the site that are emptied regularly and broken things get fixed quickly.
Lovely place to stay and we definitely want to go back.
There is so much to do in the area. While there we visited 2 different beaches, one for playing and swimming and one for fossil hunting, we went to Weymouth Sea Life Centre which was about 15 minutes away and we went to Monkey World which was 30 minutes and there was so many other things we wanted to do that we ran out of time for.
Such a beautiful place.
We are already thinking about when we can go back.

A aimé : Buckland campsite has everything we wanted/needed for a camping trip. We went no EHU but it is available on some pitches. Pitches are generous in size and well spaced out, plenty of space for kids to run around and play. There is also a play park and indoor games barn. Toilets always clean, hot showers, a well stocked little shop with lots of local produce, laundry room with washing machine, tumble drier and freezers to put your ice packs in. We were even allowed to charge our phones in there. Very friendly couple running it, nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful views and only 10 minutes drive to Weymouth beach. We will definitely be back next year!

A aimé : Great campsite, all facilities you need for a few days away. Clean toilets and showers and never had to queue. Shop was handy if you’d forgotten anything and games room and play park was great for the kids

A aimé : My family and I go camping every year and this was a lovely little campsite! The facilities were great, there was lots of space, a playground for the kids, even a games room! It's nestled in easy distance from some stunning and fun days out and we have loved our stay. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to come back again.

N'a pas aimé: I did not find this an issue but there is a working farm nearby so be aware that the cows have opinions and will share them!
