Sussex Topiary Campsite

A aimé : Warm welcome, the pitch is nice and spacious and whole park is lovely and clean.
Toilets & shower blocks nice and clean.
Nice area for kids to play with wooden park area and goal post.
Love they allow fire pits ( few sites don't )

A aimé : The pitches were layed out nicely, showerblock and washing up bays were spotless .
Nice walks around the area for our dog , all in all a great weekend. We will definitely be going back .

A aimé : The campsite was clean, owners friendly, sheltered by trees, plenty space for kids, quiet- no motorway or road around, showers clean with warm water.
We had a great time.

N'a pas aimé: Campsite has been opened for 4 years only, the owners are awaiting a permition to build more showers and toilets.
A little shop with essentials would be good.
Tents were very close to each other.
Children's area is a but small.

A aimé : Field was a good size. Friendly and helpful staff.

N'a pas aimé: Not enough toilets or showers. Water pressure in shower and washing up sink very poor. Only 2 showers for women in the entire site. Logs were expensive. No clear pitch boundaries.

A aimé : Quiet small campsite. 2 showers & 2 toilets for each sex- cleaned regularly. Pizza van there when we arrived on Friday for pitch up which was handy to save us cooking the first night. Friendly host. Good sized pitches.

N'a pas aimé: You do hear planes overhead throughout the night/early morning but I only noticed as I was up with a newborn- my husband and son snored through them.

A aimé : The site was clean and well kept.

The lady that met us when we arrived was lovely and friendly.

Plenty of space to play games. Everyone respected quiet down time.

The showers/ toilets were cleaned multiple times during the day and were always clean and tidy.

The surrounding area was lovely, with plenty of nature walks to be had.

The pizza van had unfortunately broken down so couldn’t make it on the Friday but an ice cream van arrived on Saturday.

We even got to see the shooting stars as little/ no light pollution.

Very friendly and accommodating staff .

N'a pas aimé: We were disappointed there was no pizza van on Friday , we were advised it had broken down .

A aimé : Place outside of traffic and stress. Big area so place the tent and stuff. People very friendly and helpfull. You can walk through the area around the place. Nice to hear the birds in the morning.

N'a pas aimé: The place is in the area of the Gatwick airport - it is nothing for people if they want a quiet time because of the planes.

A aimé : Great amount of space for the children to run about. We choose to pitch in the bottom field which was alot quieter. The little fire pit in the woods was cute.

N'a pas aimé: Showers had draining issues. Everytime someone had a shower the whole block would flood including into the toilet cubicles. Made getting dry hard.

The Cockerell woke us around 4.30am every morning- albeit it did stop after a while.
