N'a pas aimé Approach is a narrow single lane track . Entrance consists of a two tier gate both controlled with combination pad locks( which I could break into quicker than I could put in the numbers). The toilet block is rudimentary and dirty to the point that we didn’t want to use it . The shower block we wouldn’t use. On returning in the evening our allocated pitch had been given to someone else, the security man managed to find us another pitch by running an extra long extension lead. We were woken during the night by next doors barking dog and left the muddy field , as there is no road access to the pitches ,never to return.

Basic facilities but all you need for a good stay

A aimé Very friendly owners/staff who were always welcoming and happy to help.
Clean facilities with bonuses like a microwave and book swap.

N'a pas aimé The toilet/shower block needs to be bigger (or one each end of the field)
Play park needs updating

The surrounding area is noisy (not the sites fault)

A aimé Les basiques d'un camping sont là y compris l'électricité (même si nous avons choisi de nous installer à une place sans électricité pour être plus au calme).

Malgré beaucoup de monde (week-end de 3 jours), ambiance familiale tranquille.

Aire de jeux pour les enfants

N'a pas aimé Bloc toilettes vraiment petit d'autant plus qu'il est mixte.

A aimé The staff were very friendly.
Was sufficient enough for us to use as a Base to sleep at night.

N'a pas aimé Very tight pitches. If we had an awning up we would of struggled to get in and out of it. The next tents both sides couldn't put their guy ropes out as it would of been on our pitch. Toilets are unisex so that may put people off. Water was a bit smelly.

A aimé Lovely campsite, previous reviews seem a bit harsh tbh. Toilets perfectly clean and functional, quite nice as far as campsites go really! Same with the other facilities. Lovely helpful staff too

N'a pas aimé Pitches a tiny bit cramped together but to be expected in busy summer holidays! Wouldn’t stop us coming back at all.

A aimé Fantastic location, flat pitches, loved the microwave, fridge and freezer, lots of washing up facilities. Toilets and showers spotless (shared facilities were fine), urinals for the blokes too. If you don't want to stand cleaning your teeth or putting your make up on whilst others sit on the loo go to the sinks/mirrors in the showers. We were there Aug BH so pretty much full but also really quiet. Great aerial displays from the local Spitfire's and gliders. Absolutely no issues with the resident campers. Really lovely wardens/security, very friendly. Coded padlock on gate too, felt very safe.

N'a pas aimé We were in a campervan with small awning, the pitch was tiny, thankfully no-one came one side and the other was a small tent. If we'd have pitched the same as next door but one the fronts of our awning would have been about a foot apart at the most. Definitely not the 6m between units that is legally required. Thinking about it can't remember seeing fire points either.

Réponse du gestionnaire : We do have fire points and a fire bell by the outside washing up area there's fire extinguisher and a fire bell ..we are looking at moving these to a more focal point and shall do this for sure thank you for the feedback and glad u had nice time
