A aimé : Booked a weekend away with my partner for one of our birthdays, the place was peaceful and quiet which is what we wanted also got engaged here. The hot tub was an easy use and very relaxing. After hearing about the animals in the fields we were able to see deer at half 4-5am across the fields The owners were very helpful and on call 24/7 if needed. shower block and toilet were always clean every time we used them. We Would definitely book here again. Thank you again

A aimé : Nice site, hot tub was lovely. Very private with a nice view over the fields.
Showers and toilets are very clean

A aimé : We spent two nights here and saw in the New Year, we had an amazing time.

The hot tub was a dream and it was just what we needed after a busy Christmas, we were star gazing on our second night and even saw a shooting star!

The site and facilities were lovely, it is in a great location. You can walk to the village in approx 20 minutes where there are a couple of lovely pubs and a Tesco express. We walked there in the daylight (country road) and got an Uber back which cost approx £5, to York it would be around £10. You also have Monks Cross shopping park a 10 minute drive away, supermarkets, Primark, decathlon etc.

You can get both 4G and 5G here, we streamed things like Netflix and YouTube by hotspot connection from my phone to our laptop.

The hosts Graham and Kim were lovely, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you both!

Kim greeted us on arrival, and was very welcoming.
This is a beautiful campsite . So peaceful, easy access into York centre.
(We got Ubers)
Small shower & toilet block, super clean.
The wood fired hot tub was the best hot tub we’ve ever been in.
Cannot wait to go back! 😊

A aimé : Absolutely loved everything! Greeted by a lovely lady who explained everything to us. The hot tub was amazing!!!! Me and my partner will definitely be back soon

A aimé : Absolutely everything had an amazing two night stay on a hot tub pitch. Couldn’t have asked for more beautiful surroundings hot tub ready on arrival peaceful and relaxing. Kim was so friendly and helpful went through everything we needed to know. Will definitely be back would go so far as saying it’s my favourite caravan break as a couple.

A aimé : We loved it here! We booked the same morning we was lucky enough to get an opening, once we booked we was contacted right away to see our arrival time and if we’d like the hot tub warmed for arrival. The farm is so peaceful so serene it done us the world of good being there. We also loved how private the hot tubs were behind a fence and nobody looking in. The hosts were a lovely couple and so helpful too we had a slight problem with our motor mover and they helped us sort it very quickly too which we was grateful for. Toilet and shower were nice and clean too.

Réponse du gestionnaire : We have been awaiting your review of your very short visit on Friday with interest. We did wonder how honest you would be and to you haven’t disappointed!
Time for some honesty. You were asked to leave the site within two hours of arriving because of your choices, your behaviour, your attitude. No mention of this in your review. We provided you a clean and pristine pitch, secluded hot tub surrounded by clean grass free of dog pee/poo as they are prohibited from this area, clean shower/wc facilities. You were aware before arrival that there is absolutely no provision for walking pets on site, that they should be on a lead at all times and that they have no access to the hot tub area. All of this was re confirmed to you on arrival which is when you first questioned why you couldn’t walk your pet in the adjoining fields and down the private path to our vacation rental shepherds hut. You were clearly advised no. We did get the impression this is a word you don’t like to hear. The laminated sheet provided on arrival clearly advises that visitors will be asked to leave the site without a refund if dogs are found being exercised on site or within the hot tub area. No mixed messages here!!! Then not ten minutes later your partner was found exercising the dog in the private garden/orchard of the cottage at the front of the farm! Why?????? Told to get out immediately. Then when checking in other arrivals two hours later you had your dog within the hot tub area walking it around waiting for it to go to the toilet. As you/your partner clearly had no intention of adhering to our site rules and couldn’t care less about future visitors to the pitch, you were therefore asked to leave the site by 10pm at the latest. Remember, YOUR choices led to this - no one else is to blame. It was you shouting and screaming, presumably very angry you had been caught thanks to a late arrival, you kicking the hot tub lid around the pitch in sheer temper. What a shame as you missed out on what would have been a great weekend in the hot tub! The weather on site was fabulous all weekend!!
Pitchup are aware your behaviour and certainly don’t condone it. A shame there isn’t a black list as you would certainly feature on it. Visitors like you give other dog owners a bad name. And the worst you can do is give us a terrible review…..pathetic!! And absolutely no mention of your behaviour what so ever……brilliant 😆
