we’ve stayed in 8 different sites in the last 2 weeks, this was the most expensive and filthiest. Shipping containers for showers and washing up facilities.
The showers were disgusting, hair blocking plughole, nowhere to sit your clothes except the floor, minging shower curtain, shared toilet’s hadn’t been cleaned in forever, even had the cheek to have a sign saying “please leave these toilets as you’d wish to find them” Ha!!
The washing up facility was even worse, sinks were stinking filthy dish sponges that other people had left had been there for goodness knows how long.
The whole place needed a deep clean. There was dog muck all over the site. the childrens play park looked well worn and probably not fit for purpose as well as the row of ancient run down residential caravans.
How this site won a pitch up award for 2024 is beyond me!! avoid at all costs!!

Réponse du gestionnaire : Well a few facts .... We told you on arrival we were closed and that the site was shit for winter and offered u a refund you chose to stay
Toilets were cleaned and so are showers we are not responsible for people leaving the showers toilets dirty that's ppl that use our site we are not there owners .
Now and again as stated we were closed for winter .so this is a very unfair review when u read reviews that state that we have clean toilets and showers and you were told to tell us as we again TOLD YOU WE WERE CLOSED and dog muck is again guests and people Not us .

N'a pas aimé Untidy with lots of rubbish piled up against bins.
Pitches not properly marked out and electric cables lying across the field between hookups. Grass not mown or kept tidy- just looks all very haphazard.
The children’s playground is particularly sad- looks like something from Chernobyl!
Toilet block needs better cleaning and updating. No way I would use the showers.
To enter the site required two codes for a gate and barrier which was fiddly.
Dogs were extra cost- why? It is basically just a field that we stayed in.
I paid for two nights but only stayed for one. Then I found a site only about 10 miles away which was absolutely amazing, has won awards and costs the same price.
Would never recommend staying here.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Showers were cleaned as were the toilets grass could not be cut due to give days of total pouring down rain . There was no rubbish as we have cameras and we have three huge bins so that's not true . Dogs charged extra are PITCH UP NOT US so that them not us why did u not tell us toilet showers bad as they were not that why

Peut-être le calme de l’endroit

N'a pas aimé Douches et sanitaires dans des conteneurs dont la propreté laissait franchement à désirer.

N'a pas aimé Just a repurposed field no marked pitches or hard standing only one drinking water outlet for the whole site, toilet and shower cubicles in portakabins very small. Electric hookup looked very heath robinson. Long stay residences old and tired looking spolied any ambience.

A aimé Really good value and perfect for visiting Goodwood. Very Friendly and helpful on arrival. A nice basic campsite with warm showers and a little cooking/ washing up area.

N'a pas aimé Not enough toilets (disliked the unisex provision) or showers for a busy period we stayed for the Goodwood weekend
