A aimé : Great place, really like what they are doing building a great habitat really nice to get back to nature. Great tour guide to the pitch.

N'a pas aimé: Woodpecker alarm clock, in all fairness I have not heard a woodpecker in years so it was actually a good thing.

A aimé : Duncan was very knowledgeable and passionate about the conservation efforts in place at Woodsworth and was very accomodating from the get go. The spaces set for pitches were clear and more than suitable for our needs, plus the site is only a short walk away from local amenities (if you forgot a couple of things like we did). Highly recommended to stay, we'll definitely be visiting again.

A aimé : The cleanliness of the site was very impressive. The individual pitches were spacious and well spaced out.
Duncan was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of his site and the conservation work they are doing is very impressive.

A aimé : The isolation and the closest feeling of wild camping we have experienced yet. The forest is well maintained but appears untouched by man. Once you are in the pitch you feel all alone and wouldn't know that anyone is nearby.
Having young children was made easier with the on site toilets and sink for easier cleaning . 10/10 recommend.

A aimé : Great setting in woodland. Private pitch evenly distanced away from guests. Great location close to lots of ammenities and places to visit. Lots of wildlife caught on my sons trail camera. Toilets clean and well maintained. Friendly helpful staff. Loaned us a cooker after we forgot our connector and helped us to find somewhere to buy a new connector. Enjoyed the hammocks and great to be allowed a campfire. Rules very clear but staff were not intrusive and very relaxed as long as you do what they ask which is all reasonable. Good value for money. Dog and child friendly. Kids recieved a little activity pack and could find allocated sticks to make dens. Definitely will return.

N'a pas aimé: Cold water and no shower but this is really clear when you book. Didn't bother us but may if it is a longer stay and the weather is poor. Campsite pitches are a distance from car but again this is clearly explained and one of the things we appreciated. Wheel barrows available to assist. Tight car park spaces but sufficient as long as others are considerate and keep to their bay. No bad points just be aware of what to expect before you go.

A aimé : Quiet location, feels like wild camping without being in the wild.
Clean toilet facilities.
Cars being left near entrance well away from pitches.
Friendly staff.
Organised fire pits.
Village close by for amenities. Good views and walks

A aimé : Amazing piece of woodland with enough secluded pitches that you hardly see another person!
Love the “nearly wild” aspect of it

A aimé : Sleeping out in a hammock! Wonderful experience.
This place prioritises the natural world and I loved the experience of existing, even for a short time, as a human minority in a natural model.

N'a pas aimé: Honestly, nothing! Even with nights at 3°, it was magical and cosy.

A aimé : The walls available and camping in the Forrest was lovely. Had our own space to explore and didn’t feel like we was camping right on top of someone else.

N'a pas aimé: Wished they had a shower bit this was clear on their site so we was aware of this.

A aimé : Like the area, was peaceful and quite,out of the way . Owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area and campsite . facility's was A+ best we've seen at a site.

Induction and fire training were easy to understand and didn't take to long .

Site has many pitches for different size tent , some in open areas and some in more sheltered areas .

Getting to chose when we pitched up was great .

Is a know dog walking route but was told if getting disturbed then they close the dog walking route up , this was great to know .
