Orcaber Caravan and Camping Site

A aimé This site ,I would recommend to anyone. It was perfect . Very clean site and easy to find. Will definitely be back.

A aimé I booked this place last minute as the one we'd chosen wasn't available. This site is amazing, one of the best I have seen. Very large pitches. Plenty of space for camper, awning without even going on the grass area. It was a shame we had to cut our trip short due to a family emergency. Attention to detail is good. Two toilet blocks and showers and porta loos. Very high standard and kept spotlessly clean. There's about 12 pot wash sinks. A dog wash. The pitches have their own water supply and Electric hookup. Massive enclosed dog field for your furry friends. Very reasonable prices as well. We will definitely be returning.

A aimé There is heating and carpet in the pod!!

A aimé Excellent facilities and very well maintained. The site was easy to access and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful stay and will be coming back again!

Short walk to the picnic area next to the river.

A aimé Nice clean site. Spacious pitches. Walks were sign posted. Toilets were really clean and I loved how the music was playing regardless of what the time was - really strange coming from the quietness of outside into Lady Gaga blaring inside lol. Loved that. Loved how they came round asking everyone if they wanted a fire pit. Each plot has it's own picnic bench. Free Wifi which worked well.

N'a pas aimé There's not much going on within walking distance so we had to keep driving to go and get a pub lunch. I think there is one pub which is said to be 25 mins walk away but they were fully booked anyway so it was a good job we didn't walk it. Recommend ringing places first to make sure they have availability.

My only dislike with the site was there was no lighting at night so unless you have a torch, it is really difficult to make your way around. It looks like they are putting plans in place for this though, I could see posts at the end of each pitch with wiring so may be there will be lights ?????

A aimé Very spacious and uncrowded, lovely views , sunrise and sunsets from my pitch.
Clean well kept toilets and shower block, plenty of washing up sinks.
Overall a nice well maintained site and the owner was very pleasant and helpful, constantly busy on the upkeep of it all.
A good location for western Dales area, just a mile pleasant walk to the village of Austwick.
I’d happily stay there again.

A aimé Everything, the pitches are spacious, the toilets and shower blocks were spotless throughout our visit with the added bonus of the radio playing. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our trip and will definitely be returning
