Sycamore Lakes Touring Site

Aimé Lovely well maintained site, quiet and peaceful, will be returning hopefully on a bigger pitch.

Non aimé We were given a small pitch which was intended for a motor home not a touring caravan, the awning would not fit in the space left,so half of it was on the gravel other half was on the grass. All the bins were outside the shower and toilet blocks which did start to smell when full.

Aimé Excellent place we went with family and everyone enjoyed it..lovely clean well maintained campsite good size pitches.managed really well nothing too much trouble staff were excellent..fishing lakes perfect.the restaurant on site supherb outstanding food absolutely loved sycamore lakes will definitely be back again 😀 location perfect short drive to Skegness and to fantasy island

Aimé Everything, peaceful, great fishing, spotless toilets and easy access to nearby areas, only minor thing was WiFi tripped out often, also have to mention lady on reception, soooo helpful with information 👍 👍👍

Aimé Very clean and well maintained site. Smaller than other campsites, quiet and peaceful. Tent pitch 46, great location.
Wash facilities are clean and well kept. Plenty of bins.
Restaurant food was delicious.

Aimé Very clean and the pitch grass ground is soft and green, well maintained, staff friendly and customer service is very good.

Non aimé toilet and shower facility a bit far, but its okay and can accept.

Aimé Lovely site. The staff in the bar and reception were really friendly and helpful.

Non aimé The pitches around the lake were close together and I feel they could benefit from being looked at, and for each pitch to be marked clearly.
I initially had nowhere to park my car due to the tents either side being too close or using both sides of their tents for cars/trailers leaving us no space. This is frustrating when we are paying full price for a pitch and are limited on space.

The bins were swarmed with wasps and rubbish was left lying around the bins due to these not being emptied.

There was nowhere for children to play, a small park/play area would be beneficial.

Apologies for the pitch adjacent to yours hogging the space, I think we spoke about this at the time?
I agree the bins were a problem due to the local refuse company letting us down fortunately this has now been resolved, I hope this wont put you off visiting us again in the future!

Aimé Pitches were a good size, cost was reasonable.

Non aimé Lack of water point near pitches so if you didn't have a water carrier you were stuffed once on pitch.

Great location, lovely setting, great amenities thats well looked after, warm and welcoming and restaurant on site does beautiful fresh food
