Añade los datos de tu empresaThe owners of Luntes have a countryside house with a big garden in a sublime spot just three kilometres from the Kurzeme coast… but rather than keeping it all to themselves, they’ve decided to offer a part of garden for holidaymakers to appreciate the gorgeous rural scenery and the local coast, which has artillery forts from the war, plus sea fortresses and gorgeous beaches.
Park up on the premises' free parking spaces and pitch up your tent in the countryside garden, which caters for no more than 10 guests at a time, in one or two groups. The garden area has four different parts, two ponds and an inner courtyard surrounding the property, so although the family also resides here, they’ll respect your privacy.
There’s a separate garden plot put aside for an open firepit, where there’s a pot to cook over the flames and a small portable grill. The site has kindly provided garden-suitable dishes, cutlery, garden chairs, a throw, chair cushions, cups, glasses, a water jug and one serving of tea and coffee, just the set-up you’ll need for alfresco meals.
For an additional cost, logs for the fire, charcoal (for use on the grill) and drinking or cooking water are available. There’s also an outdoor composting toilet available.
Being five minutes’ drive from the beach, you’ll have plenty of opportunities for sea dips or fishing. Liepāja, a western city in Latvia with a long sandy beach, seaside park, musicians’ alley of fame and former bathhouse, is also 25 minutes’ drive away. A convenience store is five minutes’ drive away.

Lugares de interés
To the sea first off? It’ll take you about 10 minutes in the car to reach Redāns, where 19th-century fortresses sit right on the coast, or 15 minutes to Liepāja for some time on the splendid fine white sandy beach. There’s another beach in Pāvilosta (25 minutes’ drive), and the port town also has a local history museum where you can delve into the area’s past.
For some different watery activities, head to BB Wakepark (10 minutes), where you can have a go at wakeboarding, paddleboarding and rowing small boats or relax in the spa and sauna. Sticking to dry land instead? There’s horse riding about 20 minutes away.
Also on dry land there are plenty of opportunities to get to know the area with a walk around towns like Karosta (15 minutes) and Grobina (20 minutes), which has a medieval castle to explore. There’s also the rather moving Jews Victims of Fascism Memorial (10 minutes), in an atmospheric spot near the sea.
