Let your stress fall away with a stay at TournonZen, a small family-friendly site five minutes’ drive from the town of Tournon-d’Agenais in the Lot-et-Garonne region of Aquitaine in the south of France.
Relaxation is the order of the day at TournonZen – the site is in the tiny hamlet of Labarre, and TournonZen is its only homestead, so there’s no one nearby to break the peace and quiet of the meadows and woodlands. You can take your de-stressing even further at the wellbeing area (sauna and hot tub) or with a shiatsu massage from qualified masseuse and TournonZen manager Claude, then lie by the pool with nothing preying on your mind.
If you feel the need to leave this haven of zen for some reason, there’s plenty to do nearby too: head in to Tournon-d’Agenais for a game of tennis, visit a nearby vineyard or gourmet market, or follow one of the shady trails from the site on foot, bike or horseback.
Back on site, unwind further with a slow-paced game of pétanque then, once you’re nice and hungry, head to the shared kitchen to cook yourself up a feast and tuck in with your fellow guests on the terrace. If that all sounds like too much effort for a relaxing holiday, make your way to one of the restaurants in Tournon-d’Agenais so someone else can do all the hard work.

If you’ve got kids in tow, make tracks for Montaigu-de-Quercy, a lakeside town with sandy beaches, watersports, cruises and a traditional market for you all to poke around in, then venture on to Parc des Pirates family adventure park, Z’animoland animal park and attractions, and Walibi Sud-Ouest and Aqualand Agen waterparks.
