Welcome to Bolmynydd Camping Park A haven for campers, Bolmynydd is a reputable family run 5 STAR Welsh Tourist Board Camping Park nestling in the shelter of Llanbedrog headland with unmatched views of the coast, the Lleyn Peninsula and the mountains of Snowdonia. Without doubt an idyllic and peaceful setting. Within easy walking distance of Bolmynydd there are two glorious beaches, a well stocked grocery shop, family pub and cosy bistro. The excellent facilities at Bolmynydd are complete with central heating, power showers, baby changing, fully fitted laundry room, dishwashing room and freezers for ice packs. The reception area has a well stocked camping accessory shop and a comprehensive tourist information display together with a convenient payphone. There are a variety of pitches to suit everyone with electric hook up points across the park if required. Bolmynydd's peaceful location is ideally suited for walking to either Llanbedrog or Tyn Tywyn beaches or exploring the 500 acres of neighbouring headland. The bustling village of Abersoch is 2.5 miles away and can be accessed by car or along the coastline via Tyn Tywyn beach. Watersports, golf, pony trekking, go karting, archery, sea fishing trips, historic castles, slate and copper mines, steam trains and craft centres; there is so much for everyone to do and it is all within a short drive of Bolmynydd. The local shop can provide all your grocery requirements and the local pub is renowned for its excellent food and family atmosphere. Bolmynydd is located 5 miles from Pwllheli on the A499 road between Pwllheli and Abersoch. From Pwllheli drive into Llanbedrog village heading towards Abersoch. When you see Londis and the Glyn y Weddw Arms on your left proceed a further half a mile towards Abersoch and you will see our signpost on the left verge just after passing the riding stables on the right. Follow the camping logo on the brown sign up to the crest of the hill (do not take a right turn to the beach) and you will see Bolmynydd Camping Park on your left.
