Meadowbrook Farm

Me gustó: Very peaceful, the owner met us as we came in and was very friendly. As it happened we were the only ones staying that night. We booked a hard standing but it turns out elec was available for an extra £5.
Parking was in any orientation you preferred to enjoy the view across the meadow, which is often visited by deer. Although we didn't see the herd that comes through regularly we did see a lone deer first thing whilst having breakfast. We were also visited by the resident peacock which seemed very tame. We would stay again it's a great overnight venue but bear in mind it is a basic set up and you need to be self contained. There is also a chemical toilet emptying point which Is essentially an old toilet and a cleaning hose.

No me gustó: The sat nav led is into the farm/riding school next door! And the entrance to Meadowbrook wasn't obvious, in fact we ended up going in through the adjoining Three Gates site.

Me gustó: Simple no frills campsite, hardstanding, water available, power connection & bins. All you need at the right price. Friendly host.

Me gustó: Quiet, Jason helpful(I asked about access, 4m high motorhome) tight :-)

No me gustó: Access is tight, track on his and the other campsite(had to use their exit road) need work.

Me gustó: Peace and quiet. Fantastic wildlife, saw a herd of deer in the field in front of my van.

Me gustó: Quiet site, level pitches with electric and waste. Good value for money.
We wanted to get away over Christmas in our Motor Home and this place was perfect. No issues in finding the site either. Jason was there to greet us on arrival, really friendly chap.

Me gustó: Nice and chilled, quiet and dark. Felt a little spooky in the winter with only a couple of other vans there but was perectly adequate. It's a bit strange driving through another site to get there, but the information I was sent was great and clearly explained this so no issues finding it. Location is great just on the outskirts of Southampton.

No me gustó: Not a dislike as it was clearly stated when booking, so not an issue, but would be even better if they had toilets and wifi. I think there is wifi somewhere on the site but depends where you park and I was too lazy to move for it.

Me gustó: Seeing the deer in the field, truly amazing. They were fairly comfortable with us watching them. The autumn colours of the field made for a very relaxing space. The peacock waiting by Jason's, the owner, door and the pheasant.

No me gustó: Campsite location instructions!
It was a bit of a nightmare as you have to go through another campsite to get to yours. That needs to improve.

Me gustó: Quiet with a great veiw of a field with deer. Jason was very helpful and attentive if needed. Lovely cycle path into Romsey
