Stocks Farm Camping

Me gustó: Could not fault Stocks Farm! We were the only people on the site during our stay, so had free roam of the whole field. Was advised we could pitch up wherever we liked, and the grass was just perfect for camping. The hosts Katy & David were super friendly, and were more than happy to help with anything we needed. My 6-year old step daughter quoted that 'they tried hard to make sure their visitors have a good time', so a big round of applause there! The utilities room had more than everything we needed, including garden games & toys for the children. Everything was kept so clean, and brought back a little bit of comfort to a back-to-basics camping trip. The homemade fudge was a yummy treat, and was a lovely addition to the already wonderful break. The star of the show had to be Katy & David's very friendly cat, Max, who was more than happy to sit around the campfire with us and give the children lots of cuddles. The local Cafe was only a short walk away, and served some delicious cakes, which certainly went down a treat! We will be sure to return in the future!

Me gustó: Very friendly hosts. And plenty of room to pitch a tent. Not over crowded like some sites. This is the 2nd time we have been here, and will stay again

Me gustó: What a beautiful spot! Myself, six year old son and six year old nephew had the time of our lives. Nothing better than a back to basics campsite, no silly check ins or allocated pitches. Turn up pitch up have some fun and that is exactly what we did. The freedom of a field with fantastic owners who are friendly but not overbearing, honest, genuine and kind. Thank you we will be back soon, and I cannot finish without saying thank you to Max the cat who single handley stole the show. X

Me gustó: We totally loved it there. The hosts could not do enough for us and were super friendly.
Beautiful site which was totally immaculate.
Based right on the flitch way so a safe walk for people with kids or dogs, through stunning countryside.
If you're a dog person, you have to meet Katy and Steve's adorable dogs!!! And the two very friendly and loving cats!
The best part of all had to be the delicious home made fudge which was to die for.
Would 1000% recommend.

Facilities were good.
Lovely location .
Plenty of room for children to play and roam .

Me gustó: Warm welcome, thoughtful and helpful. Facilities were perfect. Clean, spacious site. Helpful directions to excellent eatery.

Me gustó: Great little place to stay , friendly , welcoming and relaxed .

Owners David and Katy are super helpful and you have everything on site you will need for a nice short break

Lots of amenities nearby by ( parks , pubs , supermarkets , shops etc.. ) A really good base with lots to do in and around

We are going back for a few more days as we all really enjoyed it


You can pick where you pitch your tent , have access to fridge / freezer , toilet and shower should you need it

Me gustó: Beautiful setting. Quiet. Great facilities. My 2 dogs loved it.
Owners are super friendly and attentive without being intrusive and nothing was too much trouble.
I will absolutely be returning rather than going anywhere else.
Fire pits & wood available as well as a well thought out kitchen area with fridge for campers and hand made fudge and fresh eggs available to buy.

Me gustó: Perfect setting and location for our short break. Well kept field.

No me gustó: Only one shower, and the only pot wash-up area that doubles up as the bathroom basin is in the same room for all campers. An outside hot water wash up space would be good.
