No me gustó: I was informed before I arrived that we were being moved to Heron pod but originally i booked Curlew. I was fine with this as had stayed in Heron the previous 2 times we had stayed there. I received a shock when I arrived as soon as we walked in the pod had a strong smell of damp. The floor was also covered in bits. Went into the bathroom and around the toilet and in the shower there was so much mold. The mold was even covering the toilet seat and bowl. I messaged owners straight away explaining pod was very dirty and response I received was someone will be around in the morning. We then had to travel to local tescos to buy cleaning materials so I could clean the toilet. Eventually sat down after cleaning the toilet and brushing up and the TV didn't work either. We had arrangements for the Saturday but I received no communication from anyone on the site. We decided not to stay another night as it was so dirty. I emailed the site explaining even though I had paid for 2 nights we were travelling home as shower and bathroom were unuseable. I am still awaiting any response at all. Terrible customer service considering I am a returning customer who has recommended to others.

Me gustó: Very Clean, comfortable bed lovely hot shower loved complimentary drinks and milk in the fridge on arrival

No me gustó: No hob to fry on
Could of done with a long handle brush to sweep the floor

Me gustó: Beautiful surroundings, lovely comfy pod. We stayed In moorhen pod as we had the dog with us. Really clean and cosy. Will defo come back

Me gustó: We absolutely loved this site, it was perfect for what we wanted / needed. We booked Curlew pod and it was perfect for what we needed.
The other pods were booked by family members and the space in front of the pods was perfect for the kids to run around and play outdoors safely. We had no concerns with anything the stay was just what we wanted. The pods actually exceeded any expectations we had they were well made spacious and so clean. The addition of milk tea coffee and sugar was lovely.
The added extra of a mini wine, beer and sweets for my little boy was unexpected and lovely. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

Me gustó: Awesome pod. Best we’ve stayed in. Quiet site and lovely view. Lots of little things added.

No me gustó: Would be great to have maybe some overhead storage above double bed. For a family of 4 it would be very helpful. Maybe some blackout curtains on main entrance. Also a pen to leave feedback as hadn’t brought one haha!! But these are just little things, would not stop us returning!!

Me gustó: The pod was brilliant had everything we needed apart from the shower not staying warm and there being no phone signal what so ever.

No me gustó: Cold shower no phone signal at all.

Me gustó: Immaculate well equipped pods in lovely quiet surroundings.

No me gustó: WiFi would have been a bonus.

Beautiful location with lots of peace and quiet

No me gustó: Would have liked to have been able to walk to the nearby river, or around the lake on site

Me gustó: The pod itself was immaculate, very clean and there was a nice little bottle of wine, beer and some sweets for my daughter upon arrival which was a lovely gesture. The area is very peaceful and quiet, set in a lovely location, we even had some cows for neighbours in the field behind us which was nice too. My daughter is 4 and absolutely loved playing outside on the big field we took lots of outdoor toys and she even made friends with some kids from the pod next door but one and they all played really well together. Really liked the fact that there was a table and chairs on the decking for sitting outside the pod too, with an umbrella incase of rain even though we had plenty of sunshine. We all had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend staying here. There is no WiFi here but we didn't mind that at all.

No me gustó: The only dislikes I had were the sofa bed, it may be fine four younger kids to stay on but the metal frame of the bed is so hard it really was awful to sleep on. It's comfortable as a couch just not as a bed. Also the shower as great as it is having one in the pod the hot water didn't last very long so it was really hard trying to get the little one clean before the temperature changed. Other than this we had a great stay here.
