Me gustó: What an absolute gem of a place. We’ve never stayed anywhere with such big pitches. Toilets and shower were immaculate. Location perfect for exploring the area. Village shop 10 min walk (we didn’t get to try the pub which is by the shop). The location plans sent to us were spot on and we found it first time.
What 3 words would be ideal too.
Just be aware that there is road noise, mainly due to the road surface and the train is nearby. But it was completely tranquil compared to where we live!
Can’t wait to return, loved it.

No me gustó: Nothing - just an FYI really, you need transport or a taxi to get anywhere. We were in a camper van and usually like to use public transport to save the hassle of detaching the awning.
The toilets/shower have a sensor for the lighting, if the lights go off when you’re in the shower, just open the cubicle door (I continued in the dark the first time).
Just a suggestion to owners, a little shelf at the side of the shower cubicle would be great for putting spectacles on.

Me gustó: Lovely, quiet campsite. Spacious pitches, to allow personal space. Little toy box with outdoor games for the kids. Very convenient for visiting Selby town. Toilets were clean, and great washing up area.

No me gustó: Signage was hard to see to find the site. Showers weren’t the best with having to keep pressing the pressure button - it took a few times to get the hot water going! Pitches were quiet uneven and bumpy

Me gustó: Such a lovely little camp field with lots of thoughtful touches including the communal firepit and the box of outdoor games. Lovely clean toilets. Really friendly host and easy straightforward communication. Would definitely recommend for a short stay.

Me gustó: So we had a pleasure to stay at this campsite over the bank weekend.
Let's start from the beginning- direction and location - brilliant we have received an email from the owners prior our arrival so we knew what to look out for on the road to find the place (not that it was hard- ir wasnt at all)
The area - was clean and well looked after, there were 3 other families at the campsite. The maximum I believe is 5 which is great. The area we have been allocated was plenty for us and we had no neighbours next to us either.
York was only 25 minutes drive and lidl is around 10- 15 mins drive if you need anything or forgot soemthing to pack. Go outdoors are also close by. We really liked the place.i think the only downside was for me personally as my boys couldn't hear a thing was that I could hear cars driving during the night as the campsite is close to the road.

The facilities were clean and shower was fine.
Rubbish & recycling bins provided close buy too and there were options to purchase logs / marshmallows if you wished to do so.

Me gustó: Absolutely everything!! What a little gem of a site. So much was thought about and planned to make guests enjoy their stay.

Me gustó: The layout and space between pitches was great. Only a small site with 5 pitches which suited us as we like quiet campsites.
Toilet facilities were very clean.
Great washing up area with two fridges to store food.
The shared fire pit was a hit with everyone on the campsite.
Items for sale such as logs/firewood and marshmallows with an honesty box was a lovely touch.

No me gustó: Dislikes are very minor and completely outweighed by the likes.

The entrance signage was very difficult to see when we arrived after dark, due to the brightness of the lights on the front.

When we used the showers the water pressure seemed to struggle when other campers came to use the toilets at the same time.
The showers themself were great, water temperature just right and very clean.

Me gustó: Lovely site with shower block and communal fire pit. 20 min walk to local pub both left and right out of the site.

No me gustó: There was a constant beep during the night but this maybe temporary. Apparently it is to deter miles. As there only 5 pitches it would be nice if EHU was included in the price.

Me gustó: Massive pitches with clean toilet and shower facilities. Free use of washing machine and dryer. Also aa nice fire pit in the centre of the site. Ideal location if visiting York. Would highly recommend
