Me gustó Location. Views, facilities.
Had a couple of nights here and though the weather was a bit against us the site was great. Lovely location and country side views. The facilities were good also. Nice shower/toilet block with a kitchen area for campers. Loved it.

Me gustó The amenities were excellent, clean & accessible.
Pitches were nice. Nice area & lots of cute animals

Me gustó The area we camped in was very quiet which made for a good stay. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and was close to where we camped. The breakfast from the cafe was sublime.

No me gustó There was a few noisy animals which woke us up but we expected that being on a farm.

Me gustó Lovely campsite with plenty of room for the motorhome and awning. The lady in the shop was lovely. We used it for coffee, etc.

Toilets and showers were clean, plenty of hot water.

Easy off road walk to the village. Local pub is exactly that, not horse all brasses and china. However the beer is excellent. Had the best pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord I've had for some time. Called into the fish and chips shop. We don't have them very often but they were excellent. The butchers is also worth a visit.

No me gustó As has been mentioned in previous reviews there is no screen behind the door to the toilets so you can see inside when you are passing, if the doors have been left open.

Me gustó Really liked that you could choose your own pitch and that they weren't crammed on top of each other. Also liked the cafe on site.

No me gustó The warden - constantly shouting 'get your dog on a lead' even in the dark - must have had his night time vision goggles out ! Also this site has a rookery near to it which makes a very noisy early morning wake up call.

And if you didn't constantly ignore our polite requests to keep dogs on a lead ( 4 times ) then you wouldn’t be asked would you …….

I hope people ready this revue as a bitter customer who liked the site, cafe but felt entitled enough to not follow the rules

Me gustó Plenty of space and able to pitch where you liked. Location is great, lots to do if you like your walking and biking.
We didn't have a hot tub (maybe next time) but enjoyed the fire pit.
The staff in the cafe were lovely and welcoming and cooked breakfast on the last day of our stay was excellent.
There was an issue with noise on the first night due to a very large group, which the owner dealt with swiftly the next day.
Facilities were plentiful, always clean, and the toilets/shower blocks were always nice and warm.
We'll be back!
