Hutton Le Hole Caravan Park

Me gustó This was our second visit in as many weeks. Lovely and well kept site. The toilets and showers are as clean as can be and are a credit to the staff. Met the wardens and owner who are all lovely. Can’t recommend this site enough. If you get a chance also try the farm meat. The burgers we purchased were lovely.

No me gustó Not able to use fire pit to toast marshmallows on the night and no park for the kids to play but we made our own fun! 👍🏽

We are very clear in our site information that we do not allow fire pits, even if you share your marshmallows! The safety of you, our other guests, our animals and our crops is the priority.

Glad you enjoyed your stay, pleased you made your own fun! You will no doubt be aware of the huge moorland fire currently raging across the National Park just south of Whitby and as a Park we are on fire alert. So sorry!

Me gustó This was our first visit to the site and we were not disappointed. The site is lovely and well kept and all the facilities are spotless including the toilets and showers. There are quite a lot of individual toilets / showers and family rooms so you are never waiting around. The site also has free wifi which we had no problems with. The site is well away from the road and it’s extremely quiet on a night time. If you like a peaceful location then this site is well worth a visit. We can’t recommend this site highly enough and we will definitely be back.

We are keen to offer a great site that is extremely clean and the ideal place for a lovely holiday, however you choose to spend it. We are fortunate to be in a beautiful area with great walks, drives, bike routes etc coupled with some great eating places, things to do and let's not forget the stunning village of Hutton Le Hole - one of the most beautiful in the UK, on our doorstep so you can walk down our track in to the village to enjoy the Folk Museum, Tea Rooms, Pub and even a beck stream to dip your feet in if you're feeling adventurous!
We have touring pitches but also you can bring friends to stay in our Shepherds Hut, Bell Tents and Static Lodges so let your friends and family know about us too!
We'd love to welcome you back sometime!

Me gustó Beautiful site very well maintained and in excellent location lovely village pub nearby.

No me gustó Toilets shut for nearly 2 hours from 10.45 for cleaning every day,very difficult if camping /glamping and don't have access to a toilet .we just went out for the day to use a loo 🤣But upside was the facilities were beautiful and clean 😍

We do advertise that we close from 11 - 1 to allow our staff to clean the facilities to a high standard, without being interrupted and risk of slips on the wet floor etc. We do advertise the closure so that customers are aware prior to booking - another case of being sure you are selecting the right location and level of service you need for your stay. If our building would allow partial closure we would remain open but sadly the layout means it is safer to close. We do try and open them earlier if we get finished earlier. A really tricky one that we hope our customers understand.

The Shepherds Hut is a cosy place to stay and has it's own toilet and shower, a real bonus! You can park right up to it and once you're here there's no need to stray very far. Glad you enjoyed it!

Me gustó We decided last minute to go away for a few days ,this site was lovely really well maintained the facilities were good and very clean ,the wardens were really nice ,very knowledgeable about the local area and couldn’t have been anymore helpful.
The 15 minute walk to the village was great the local pub served good food which was a bonus for us !
We will definitely be back .

Del administrador: Thanks for your review. The weather has made for a busy few weeks but there's still plenty of space on our site. Our staff love welcoming everyone and are quite clued up on the best places to go and where you might need to book in advance. We're pleased you enjoyed your stay!
The Crown changes hands in a few weeks so it will be interesting to see how the new people put their mark on the food and drinks service.

Me gustó We had plot b6, which was in a lovely position, a large plot which was more or less level. everywhere is well maintained, and the showers are lovely clean and warm .the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area regarding walks the sun shone and we really enjoyed our stay. We will be back. 😃

We are glad you liked the site and we will certainly make sure our staff offer information about walks as they seem to be seasoned boot wearers who love a good yomp around the area. It's always difficult to gauge what level of information, maps and apps our guests have already got and then for us to make suggestions sometimes isn't welcome but please ask and we can certainly locate walks and print them off for you if needed. The most popular app at the moment seems to be AllTrails but we do have an old fashioned OS you can look at too!
Closing the facilities is one of those difficult things to deal with as we have health and safety for you and our staff plus the obvious distractions of folk wanting to chat and we have a toilet brush in our hand - not really ideal so we decided to concentrate on a high standard of cleaning and close the building while we do it - fair to everyone. We time it for departure and to reopen on arrival time so it should most people. Sorry if you didn't notice it on the listing prior to booking.
Glad you enjoyed your stay and hopefully the dog got off the lead on the farm walk - good for a chase about!

Me gustó Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal auf dem wunderschönen Platz. John hat uns wieder herzlich auf unserm tollen und sehr großen Platz mit einem netten Plausch empfangen.
Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und angenehm weitläufig. Für Hundebesitzer gibt es direkt hinter der farm einen riesigen Rundweg mit tollem Ausblick.
Ausflugsziele sind mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar.

The grounds are very well maintained and pleasantly spacious. For dog owners, there's a huge circular trail with a fantastic view directly behind the farm.
Excursion destinations are accessible by bike.
