Old Octon Farm Lodges

Me gustó: Just back from a lovely 2 night stay in the Shepherd's View Lodge. The Lodge was spotless and extremely well equipped with everything we needed and more. The owners are very welcoming and made my son extremely happy by inviting him to bottle feed the adorable lambs. We took advantage of the nice weather with a bbq and a few games of the swing ball provided. We were sad to leave such a peaceful and beautiful place. Hope to return soon 😀

Me gustó: Lovely cosy little cabin. Quiet farm with sheep loved the bbq too. Would recommend.

Me gustó: Wonderful stay in Shepherd's View Lodge, could not have asked for anything more. The cabin is beautifully done, has everything you need and amazing views of the fields right outside. Was lucky enough to see newborn lambs! Mandy and Dave are really friendly and approachable. Thanks for a lovely stay, I will be back.

Me gustó: What a hidden gem! We booked for a short getaway and ended up extending our stay. The lodges have everything you could need to settle in and relax in luxury and comfort. We got the best sleep we have had in a long time and spent the days resting and watching the sheep. The owners are absolutely lovely and couldn’t do enough to ensure a good stay.

We have definitely found our happy place and will be back later this year and beyond.

Me gustó: All facilities really good, clean and safe. Kitchen and bathroom has everything you need to cook and clean.
Host was fantastically nice and helpful.
We stayed to work in the area and having stayed in many places all over the country this is in my top five with ease.

No me gustó: Nothing to dislike here.

Me gustó: the barn was as described. in a great location for going to local places. would definitelyrecommend and go there to stay again in the near future. the owner was very amenable and lovely.

No me gustó: stripping the bed and bagging up the dirty washing. never been asked to do this before.

Me gustó: Everything! Great hosts who were welcoming and helpful. Visited with our 2.5 year old and a baby. Our little one loved saying hello to the sheep on a morning and enjoyed sitting on the tractors. Lodge was clean and bed was very comfy! Great little touches such as complimentary hamper/ toy baskets and toddler cutlery and plate. It was lovely to eat outside on a night… so many stars!! Thanks for such a wonderful stay - I am sure we will be visiting again!

Me gustó: We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved our stay!
Very warm welcome from Mandy, lovely clean & comfortable lodge, with everything you need, and the favourite part of our stay was the view in a morning, watching the sheep!
We will definitely stay again and recommend to friends!
