Me gustó: Everything. So peaceful, plenty of room, plenty of places to walk with the dog and back to nature. It was everything it said in the description and would definitely stay again.

Me gustó: Very quiet and peaceful site. Wonderful surroundings next to a marina. We didn’t realise that it was the only way in and out for the marina. But that didn’t cause us any problems. On arrival we wasn’t sure where to pitch our caravan. So I ended up having to ring the owners up. They told us to pitch up where we wanted next to any available EHU. Plenty of space available and we had an entire corner to ourselves. Actually we had the entire site to ourselves. The owner came down to greet us after they arrived back from shopping. They were very friendly and helpful. There was a portaloo on site which we had to ourselves as we were the only ones staying there. The local village has a pub, post office and a Chinese takeaway. Great location for Lakenheath to see all the jets. We visited here twice. Cambridge not far away, and quite a few National Trust places to visit. All in all we had a wonderful stay, and if we visit this area again I would definitely stay here.

Me gustó: Considering it is august this campsite was wonderfully quiet. We could pitch up anywhere within the beautiful grounds. There was a lovely lake, lots of woodland and open spaces. The single toilet was fine particularly because there were only 3 other groups of people staying. We only stayed one night but it was great and would definitely go back. You can walk straight out to the river where we also launched our paddle boards. The owner was lovely and really kind. You can walk to the next village where there is a pub and a takeaway (who even deliver to the campsite). Such a beautiful setting and great value for money.

No me gustó: You can hear the road noise in the distance but it soon calmed down at night. It's not exactly the M25!

Me gustó: Beautiful grounds - secluded areas to park up or open areas to be with others. Lots of choice.

Me gustó: Lovely few days stay on a grass pitch. Smashing views over the lake. Host was really helpful and friendly highly recommend

Me gustó: Peace and quiet of the site. Especially the allocated quiet times which everyone adhered to which made the stay so pleasant. Loved listening to the wildlife plus the sunset. Very friendly welcome from the owner.

Me gustó: The non EHU pitches give access to beautiful spots around the water lily filled pond. Tranquil! Portaloo kept spotless. Lovely circular walk from the site - along the river, over it and back.
