Highfield Escape

Me gustó This is definitely our new favourite place in the UK and we feel so lucky to have found such a gem of a place. You feel like you have your own private campsite with incredible views and the most welcoming owners. Tina and Mark were so genuine and lovely and were nearby for any questions but gave us our space and privacy.

The toilet, shower and kitchen were spotless and didn’t feel like your typical campsite amenities.

Our quirky corner pod was very spacious and had everything we might need and also a lovely comfy warm bed. The fairy lights are a beautiful touch and make it just magical.

Bridgnorth is a beautiful nearby town that has great shops and also a cool place to visit.

No me gustó There is nothing we disliked about our whole weekend and we are already trying to work out when we can return!

Me gustó Booked last minute, and once we were there we realised how lucky we were to have managed to have the bank holiday weekend at this gem of a site…what a find!
Stayed in the sunset lodge which is beautifully presented, clean, cozy and comfortable with everything you need.
We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from the lovely owner Tina, who after a nice chat and realising how small the world really is, showed us around the spotlessly clean bathroom and shower unit, and the shared cooking and dish washing area. Her husband Mark soon fallowed to introduce himself. Both very approachable owners with nothing too much trouble if needed as they were close by and just a message away.
A Perfect peaceful site with stunning views… especially at sunset!
I really didn’t want to share such a positive experience with the fear that it would get too popular 🤣 but Highfield escape deserves this review, and we will be booking again in advance to secure our next visit!

Me gustó Perfect getaway just to have some peace and quiet time away.
Beautiful views.
Lively quirky cabin.. immaculate, packed with all the amenities needed (TV, kettle, fridge, electric heater, utensils).

Me gustó The quirky pod was a little piece of heaven for us; we enjoyed our time there massively our only wish was that we could have stayed longer.

The peacefulness of the site was a true highlight and we had exactly what we needed which was to be left to ourselves :)

Our hosts were very pleasant on meeting and made it clear they were availiable if needed

The facilities were far beyond what we were expecting; the bathroom and shower are of the highest standard, more than you would think for a small site.

Everything you could need was in the cabin and even charging devices was not an issue.

We really cannot speak highly enough about the whole experience on site.

We plan on returning in the future perhaps when we can spend longer in the isolation.

It was truly wonderful.
