Woodhall Country Park

Me gustó: Overall 5 stars, have stayed before August 24 Bank Holiday weekend and was one pitch that played music and were loud till early hours, but it didn’t ruin anything, think that’s just a consideration for others thing. Compared to this time April 25 Easter Holidays, was unbelievably quiet, no waiting for showers or toilets. Cleaned regularly. Bar on site was great, great cider. However last time was a burger van stationary next to the bar, no sure if is out of season or too early yet. But maybe idea to support your local businesses and have a fish and chip shop van or pizza van any catering outlet on site at weekends too or even specific nights. Huge area for you to also have a giant screen like Tattershall, would be great for watching football or having set days/times for kids films during school holidays. Used the dog/bike wash, was boiling hot and secure not complaining as asked to turn down and they did. Water was piping hot to wash pots with. New lady on reception, was her first day on the job, so was nervous but everyone has to start somewhere right? you are great and will get there! Keep going! No me gustó: Only thing would say is toilets did smell like poo often which is understandable, but easily sorted with an air fresher that squirts every so often. And the bins for rubbish were full. Our neighbouring pitch who we were with for our stay did say they had lots of holes, so had to be weary of were to pitch the tent.

We are glad to hear your enjoyed your stay with us and found it a quieter stay this year. In regard to the food, we have a vendor joining us Easter Weekend and will be with us for the season so hopefully you can return for another visit and enjoy all of our facilities.

Me gustó: Peaceful country campsite, toilets are always clean. Park was quiet and the children had lots of space to play. Pitch sizes are spaced with plenty of room. Dog friendly making it ideal for a family break. The park was clean and tidy and we had a lovely time.

No me gustó: Food trailer wasn't there this trip would benefit from some kind of food vendor on site.

Me gustó: Lovely and clean. Very helpful and friendly staff. It was our first time with a camper van staying overnight and the stay here made it an enjoyable experience.

Me gustó: The pitch was close to the washing facilities, which were clean and warm. The staff in reception were very friendly and helpful. The kids playground was well kept and great for my 3 year old.

No me gustó: It would have been nice to be able to get food on site but I understand that doesn’t start until later in the season.

Me gustó: Large fully serviced, level pitch. Clean warm toilets and showers, plenty of hot water. Nice secure site. Great play area for the children.

Me gustó: Excellent site and very well run by polite staff. Just a short walk to the village where there are pubs, restaurants and takeaways.

Me gustó: Woodhall Country Park is a peaceful spot. The site is big and staff are friendly.

It’s also handy being so close to Woodhall Spa, a charming little village with nice shops, cafes, and plenty to explore.

No me gustó: 2 out of the 3 facilities blocks were closed during our stay. Fair enough due to winter, but was only communicated to us 1 week before arrival.

No hot water in the available facilities block, so had no showers or hot water taps. This was reported to reception, but it was not resolved during our stay.

Lack of hot water did ruin our stay on site.

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit to us. Sorry to hear that you had issues with the water temperature. When this was reported to us we were currently having maintanence work being carried out of the boiler. The tempertaure was then checked again after the work.

Hopefuuly we will see you for another visit.

Me gustó: This was our first trip away in a tourer , after a few years using a tent ,it was a birthday treat and Woodhall country park surely delivered , helpful great site facilities amazing very clean

Me gustó: Stayed there at the end of October, our stay was really enjoyable, the staff were very polite too, very spacious electric pitch in a wooded area, with parking right next to it. The whole site was very clean and tidy and the washrooms and toilets were gorgeous inside and very clean. We will definitely try to get back there in the summer. Also the bonfire and fireworks night was a brilliant night, free for people on the site, the staff did a great job.
