Liked: Relaxed site near the coast path. Clean shower and toilets
Disliked: Having to weigh up the risk of hot water running out

From the manager: We are sorry the hot water was not working properly during your stay.
We have solar heated showers to try and keep our site as green as possible, adding back up systems would involve using gas and this would be expensive as well as not very eco friendly
We have since doubled our tank capacity so there is now 600l of water heated at a time
Excellent site location, very quiet and friendly hosts.

Liked: What an amazing little find! Spent our first night here on our backpacking trip around the coastal path - we all wished we'd stayed longer! Very easy to find following our map off the coastal path. Toilets and showers were lovely and kept clean and there is a barn available to wash up and keep food in fridges. The campsite was lovely and quiet and the hosts were very friendly and informative.
We're bitter we couldn't have stayed for more nights!
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Beautiful scenic campsite - only noises you can hear are the sand of nature.
Great set ups - fantastic country walks - coast line is not far away at all.
Disliked: We didn’t have great phone reception and don’t think there was WiFi however if you’ve come here to switch off from the world - this is the place!

Liked: Given that I’d managed to pick a week of appalling weather I really liked the lovely sheltered spot we were given! Pitches were roomy and flat, and the picnic table for each pitch was a really nice touch. The trees and plants around the campsite were very picturesque and we could see the sea through our woven willow hedge.
The facilities were very clean, and housed in a barn so are sheltered from the elements but still with an outdoorsy feel.
The hot water is solar powered but even in a non-sunny week there was enough for showers and washing up. The communal fridges were appreciated, as was the availability of recycling points and device charging points.
The bigger shower room was lovely, and with a brilliant zebra themed shower curtain that always made me smile.
Although you can’t park next to your pitch the parking is very close by so it doesn’t really matter.

Sunset yurt
Liked: We took our 6week old, having everything supplied allowed us more room in the car for pram etc. Woodburner was perfect for night feeds + nappy changes
The private pitches was great with the dog to allow freedom to roam around the yurt
