What customers say
Plas Dolben: peaceful farm site, loved for views & friendly owners. Super clean loo/shower. Loads of space for kids/tents. Farm dogs are a bonus! Village pub nearby. No drinking water & tricky access for big rigs.

A gorgeous, relaxing and peaceful site
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Peaceful campsite. We really enjoyed our stay here as a family with our dog. The facilities were clean and well stocked and cared for, the owner was friendly and helpful and there was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. If you’re not a fan of busy, crowded campsites then this is the one for you.

Excellent site, lovely owners, well worth a visit.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked The field is lovely and big, plenty of space to pitch your tent away from other campers. The view from the field was absolutely phenomenal, I could sit and look at it all day. The sausages from the farm were delicious and excellently priced. The owners were lovely. Excellent toilet and shower facilities on site. There is a pub a short walk away, and a gorgeous church a little further than that. We went to Tesco and Aldi whilst there, all within 5 miles of the site, even though you feel completely cut off from the rest of the world there. We also had excellent signal on Three (5G) for when we needed to use our phones. We have left campsites in other areas of Wales before and been unable to use the satnav on our phones due to lack of signal, so we came prepared with offline maps but didn't need them. We definitely plan on coming back to this site again.

Excellent site, very large and always very clean.

Liked We arrived expecting to stay two days and we stayed a week here. Absolutely gorgeous setting, very friendly hosts and a very powerful hot shower with proper toilet. Always both immaculate. This is a great base to explore North Wales and we have loved every minute of our stay here. Sally the farm dog even brought the best out in my usually grumpy lab.
Disliked Nothing, this is the perfect campsite for families and we can't wait to return with the wider family next year.

Liked Everything! The views were amazing and there was so much space as only a few other tents there. Toilet and shower were good. Shower was hot and powerful. Owners were friendly and local pub a few mins walk and they were really accommodating. Great value for money.

Truly one of our favourite places to stay
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Cannot recommend this place highly enough if you want to completely chill out, back to nature peace quiet and beautiful scenery and stunning sunsets.
No nonsense spacious, very clean and super friendly owners. Rhian was brilliant with our granddaughter who we had bought back for the second time as she was in love with the place and the horses and this time the added bonus of Sally to play with she had the best time and so did we.
I would definitely also recommend the sausages. . Super tasty we even took some home, and the eggs incredible!
A true gem of a place and we will definitely be returning ❤️

Lovely small campsite away from bustle
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely little campsite, and we were lucky enough to have it all to ourselves. It's a very peaceful area with amazing views, the working farm only noticeable by the odd sheep or horse noise, and little visits from the adorable sheep dogs who were super with our own dog. The toilet and shower (one each) were very clean and looked after! The pot wash area is a couple of washing up bowl outdoors which works perfectly fine. For the price it definitely is a little gem! No nonsense type of camping which is exactly what we were after
Disliked In our small caravan, the drive up to the campsite was manageable, however larger vehicles might struggle with the narrow road and steep bends. The camping field is on a slope with not many if any areas being flat, so extra ramps or blocks are recommended :)
