What customers say

Spacious, private pitches and clean, well-equipped facilities, including individual shower/toilet cubicles, get a thumbs up. The heated outdoor pool is a hit, as is the play area and football pitch for families. Location's good for beaches and attractions, though approach roads can be narrow and walks steep. A few suggest updating some facilities; no onsite shop was mentioned by some.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked Well laid out spacious pitches separated by hedges. Toilets were nice and clean. The pool area is lovely with a nice coffee shop.

Disliked Very limited for Elsa’s disposal in fact there was actually only 1 that I could find for the touring pitches.

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked The outdoor pool is the best part about this campsite.

Disliked There really isn’t anything going on at this campsite. The facilities are lacking. There is an outdoor pool but nowhere to change?
We were told to change in the disabled toilet next to the pool, which was dirty and dark.
The coffee prices are very pricey considering it comes from a machine that you do yourself. Very weak too.

The price to stay is very high too compared to many other sites which offer a lot more.

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked The sea views and the pool were lovely. Having glanced at the reviews after booking I was a little concerned but honestly this was a truly lovely campsite toilets were clean and we never had a problem with availability. The pool was lovely and cleaned and the kids really enjoyed this and the play area. Really lovely to be able to walk to beautiful beaches. Honestly we were really impressed with this campsite and staff were always very friendly.

Disliked It was a little boring sometimes having a little bar or games room would have been nice as the weather was pretty bad for us this would have been a nice inside option.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked The whole campsite, staff are friendly. Showers/toilets are clean and not a big row of showers so more private.
The pool is a lovely addition (even in the rain).
Brilliant family site. Will be returning!

Disliked Bit out of the way of everything. 20-30 min drive to major towns.
But didn’t really matter to us as we enjoy exploring!

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked Pitch was a great size and really nice to have the hedges either side for some privacy. Club house was great offering coffees and snacks. All of the services were clean enough.
The kids enjoyed splashing about in the pool.

Disliked no option for dinner and site was quiet remote, although we was directed to the beach nearby, which was overlooked by a castle, to get some food there.

Disliked Not a dislike more of it could of been better
Cleanliness of the toilets, because they are individual toilet and showers and unisex they should have cleaning mops inside, so campers can self clean after use

Route directions

From St Austell, take the B3273 towards Mevagissey for approximately three miles, at the top of the steep hill, turn right signposted to The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Seaview International. Follow this road and turn for the yellow Seaview Lodges sign. If you are using a GPS or satnav device then do not carry straight on at the top of the hill as this will take you into the centre of Mevagissey where the streets are extremely narrow and often blocked. Please turn right at the top.

Local attractions

Seaview is close to the South West Coast Path – and sands – of Restormel, a top spot for cyclists and walkers, and among the coves, safe clean beaches and jaw-droppingly scenic coast of the Roseland Peninsula. St Mawes (35 minutes) and St Just (an hour and 20 minutes) are both within easy reach; access sailing, fishing boat hire and kayaking nearby at Mevagissey (15 minutes). You could also take a boat trip along the Fal from Falmouth (55 minutes), pedal the Clay Trail for five miles from the Eden Project (half an hour) to Wheal Martyn, or venture determinedly forth for Cornwall's old castles and buildings, including the Caerhays Castle (five minutes) manor house. Kids will surely like the Shipwreck Treasure Museum (20 minutes), within a short drive at the port of Charlestown, and Flambards Theme Park (an hour) and the Crealy Theme Park & Resort (an hour and 45 minutes). A football golf centre, indoor soft play and the Wingz bird and animal sanctuary are all a few minutes' drive from St Austell. Regattas, carnivals and festivals run throughout Cornwall all year round; ask the Seaview team when you arrive what's going on locally.
