Liked: What an absolute gem of a place. Only here for one night; loved the size of the field and the fact you could pick your known pitch with plenty of room. The loos/shower were first class - the best we’ve ever had. We live local and have started to just go off for one night over a weekend in our van as much as we can. We will most definitely be back. Had a wonderful stay as did our dogs.
Thank you

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: The site is very peaceful, there is a little road noise but if you pitch up the top end you do not notice it. Excellent toilets and shower. Great little washing up area. Owners are lovely and very helpful and are looking to constantly improve the facilities. Will be staying again.
Disliked: No hot water at washing up station but this didn't bother us. Unfortunately some guests didn't leave the showering and toilet facilities as they would have liked to find them and we had to have a clean and wipe down before use. Could do with a more powerful extractor in the shower area as it gets a bit steamy during use. Note that the field is on a gentle slope so you need to consider how you pitch your tent.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Quiet and spacious location. The field is surrounded by trees so you have shade all along. The bottom of the slope was a bit wet and I recommend, since space is not an issue, to pitch up a good 15-20 meters away from the fence.
Also, at the bottom of the slope there is no mobile signal...might be a positive though!.
The toilets were fantastic, well kept and new. 10 minutes away from bodiam Castle and 20 min away from Battle Abbey. Good location
Disliked: We liked everything, exactly as described. Thinking about improvements I would suggest solar panels in the shed by the toilets and a communal fridge, kettle and charging station.
