Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.- The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
- Group bookings of 4 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
- No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
- The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
- Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
- Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.
- Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
- No gas barbecues allowed.
- No electric barbecues allowed.

Liked: Lovely quiet site, could pitch our tent wherever we wanted. Very clean toilet/shower block. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and away from the noisy crowds campsite.

Liked: All the facilities. Top quality and clean. All the nice extras. Eg subuteo, plates cutlery tea and coffee an honesty box for the wee shop and the owner Karen was great

Liked: Beautiful quiet surroundings and very relaxed friendly atmosphere. Walking distance to a small village with a lovely pub and pretty walks from the camp site.
Disliked: The showers seem to be affected by other was use.

Liked: Peaceful and quiet apart from usual farm noises. Lovely scenery. Unisex facilities 2x showers with hot water 2x toilets.
Outside washing facilites, cold water only, take a flask of hot water with.
Parking anywhere on field, take levelling blocks.
Directions from host were brilliant.
Disliked: Not a dislike just a suggestion. If pouring down, would be nice to have a roof shelter over outside washing up area.

Liked: I had a fantastic stay at Moor House Farm Campsite - the views are beautiful, the toilets and showers are spotless and the water is hot! Above all though, communication was great and Julie was super helpful!
I had excellent phone signal with Vodafone which is great for those who need to be contactable while away.
Disliked: Nothing - I've already been back!

Liked: Myself and partner travelled with a few friends up to the Lake District for the weekend. Moor house farm camping was amazing the hosts were lovely and friendly and extremely helpful. Everyone on the site was very friendly and everyone was respectful. The facilities were amazing and better than expected. The check in details and all information was extremely helpful.
Disliked: The only issues we had were we felt the signage for the campsite was a bit small and hard to see, a bigger sign would be easier to find the campsite. The only other issues we wanted to improve was in the bathroom there was a sign with what 3 words to find the campsite easier, it would have been nice to have received those details in the confirmation email to find the site easier.

Liked: Very clean and tidy. The facilities were well equipped, clean, no odours. The host was helpful and friendly. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were running delayed so sent a message to check if we would be able to arrive late and was happy to be informed that this wasn’t an issue. We will be back next year!
