Liked: The site was brilliant, staff were very helpful and friendly. The pitch was a great, fully serviced and adult only area, which was perfect for us. Great dog walk and exercise area for our two energetic pooches. Toilet/showers were spotless. The site was well kept. We managed to have brunch from the café on site and it was delicious.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch (medium, adults only)
Liked: I like the whole site, under floor heating in the shower block and music playing.
Only thing I would recommend is to have a detachable hose for us ladies in the shower.
We visited the adult part so I can't comment on the children's experience.
I did walk on the fantastic walks and discovered the ice cave.
There is a lovely cafe there and we had breakfast which was very nice apart from the sausage. We prefer plain pork but that's mine and my husband's choice.
The staff in the shop were really friendly and the reception staff were great and very helpful. My enquiries were dealt with immediately and my emails responded to in a timely manner.
It was a clean site and I witnessed staff on site sorting a mans problem out when he had bent his key to get the wheel clamp off.
They have a pizza nigh on a Saturday with a doughnut van on site.
The donkeys and llamas were brilliant to see.
I would highly recommend this site, look for the old railway station, there is loads of history to be discovered on this site.
Disliked: Just the lack of a detachable shower hose for us ladies, I'm small and this would make a great feature in your shower rooms, my friend also said this while stopping on your site.

Camping pod
Liked: Camping pods were comfortable, toilets were always clean, the cafe was amazing
Disliked: The cafe abs shop had very limited opening hours and the radio in the toilets could have been turned off at night (although it wasn't loud)

Camping pod
Liked: The scenic views, cleanliness of site & toilets
Disliked: How basic the pod was (1 socket, 1 heater, 1 lamp)
Pods location - stuck down the back of site
No wifi connection
Distance to the toilets and the lack of footpaths
Cafe place was only open one evening for food

From the manager: Our pods aim to give an authentic camping experience (minus the tent) with the added convenience of not having to pitch a tent, warmth, electricity and lighting. They are basic in their nature, as they are intended to be for a more authentic camping experience. We do have other pods which may be more suited to your families needs which include toilets, more electricity and hot tubs. Our onsite cafe is open everyday during high season with an onsite shop too so we are unsure that it would have been closed during your stay.
We will definitely go back again. Thank you for a great visit.

Camping pod
Liked: The site was absolutely lovely. Well laid out pitches, paths, roads and facilities.
The shower blocks were amazing and they were so clean. The staff were friendly and approachable. My son loved the adventure playground. We both enjoyed Pizza night at the Hitch and Brew.
We had a camping pod which was exactly as described. We watched the sun set over the fields from the decked area of our pod. The site benefits from being in a dark skies area and we were blessed with a clear night so saw thousands of stars!
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The pitch was a great size and had the services within it. The park sits in a beautiful area and there were plenty different sounds of nature to be heard. The facilities are very well appointed as individual shower rooms with local radio playing (which I found a great touch).
The staff are all very pleasant and welcoming and always seem to be on hand should there be any issues (which there definitely weren't for us). I love the proximity to all the seaside towns which makes this site a gem to visit.
Disliked: Nothing at all

Camping pod
Liked: Pod 3 was fantastic, we couldn’t have asked for more and for the price too! The Reception experience was easy and fold out map really useful. Site was very clean and had everything we could have needed and more. It felt very safe with a young child and really child friendly, but not too loud or busy either.
Bathroom facilities were the best we’ve ever visited… and with under floor heating! The cafe was really good, flapjack especially. Playground was a great success, really good mixture of things for children of different ages and loads of room. The donkeys and llama were a really nice addition to our stay. We didn’t make use of them but loved the additions of the private bathrooms, bike and dog wash. Everything was so cleverly and carefully thought out, including the site maintenance as we regularly saw site team tidying/ planting and maintaining a really beautiful site.
We wish we’d booked an extra night and will definitely be back again!
Disliked: Can’t think of anything it really was a gem of a find!
