  • Animals like alpacas and goats; fresh morning coffees available
  • Toilet block, showers and washing-up facilities
Pitch up in Pickering at Oak Tree Farm Park to be in a prime place for pottering around some of the best parts of North Yorkshire… villages, markets, Dalby Forest and first-rate walking and cycling routes are all close by. Oak Tree Farm is a small and welcoming site on a working farm with friendly free-range hens and a couple of pigs and goats (which the kids are welcome to interact with). Bags of feed are available to buy for a small cost if you'd like to feed the farm animals, such as goats and alpacas. For your own feeding and watering, grab the fresh coffee that's available to takeaway on weekends and during school holidays between 8.30am and 10am. The farm has a toilet block, showers and dishwashing facilities: a £1 honesty box contribution is used for the showers. Oak Tree Farm Park welcomes families and couples of all ages, but doesn't accept group bookings or group multiple bookings.

What customers say

Small, friendly, peaceful site. Welcoming owners, spacious pitches. Loved the farm animals (goats, alpacas!) and great showers. Perfect for exploring Pickering and the Moors. Watch for signage and bathroom tidiness feedback.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Large pitches, great showers, convenient location in lovely area, the animals!

The best campsite we’ve stayed on. Set in a lovely location next to a working farm. Facilities were excellent, and having the animals on site kept the kids extremely well entertained.
A couple of miles from Pickering for any supplies you might need, and only about 1/2 an hour or so away from Whitby.

Fully-serviced grass pitch

Liked Well spaced out level pitches in a countryside setting that was lovely and quiet overnight. Adjacent paddocks housed alpaca, pigs and goats which were enjoyable to watch. Friendly owners. Shower/toilet and washing up blocks were easily accessible and kept clean.

Fully-serviced grass pitch

Liked Quiet site close to Pickering - animals onsite which was nice to see -visits from ducks and a very friendly cat . All grass pitch with water tap and electric .

Disliked Showers and toilets disappointing shabby and not very welcoming for the cost of a nights stay have had far better . Resorted to showering in the caravan which I very rarely need to do and a charge of a pound for each person .
Entrance to site very tight and needs to be approached using both sides or the road . Overall site looks a bit shabby .
