Set up back in 2016 on open farmland just on the outskirts of Lincolnshire seaside capital Skegness: if you want busy and seaside town days along with days among green Lincolnshire countryside, petite and clean Skegness Fields is a well-placed pick. Pitches are hardstanding ones for tourers and motorhomes, and come with electric hook-up and a water point. The smart facilities include a swish shower and toilet block, washing-up area and chemical disposal. As it's a family-friendly site, Skegness Fields has plenty of room for kids to roam and grownups to relax; it's a safely-kept site too, with a fully secure barrier entry system. The sands of Skegness are a couple of minutes' drive, a leisurely stroll or a quick bus ride away.

  • Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
  • The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. XL Bully, Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
  • No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
  • Reception is unmanned after 5 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.
  • 5kWh of electricity per night is included, any usage beyond this is metered on site at £1 per kWh and must be topped up at reception. Sleeping in awnings and exceeding caravan berth are not permitted.

This is a super clean, well-kept site with loads of space on the pitches and staff that are friendly and helpful. Facilities, including the loos and showers, get a thumbs up for being spotless and modern. It's a great spot for walking into Skegness, with shops and pubs nearby too. Some mention road noise, but most reckon it’s not a bother. Good value, and most folk would come back!

Liked Very nice site large level pitches and a very clean and tidy site. The facilities are clean with lovely warm showers could do with a spruce up but never the less very nice. The site is a couple of minutes from a bus stop which is great for a day out to skegness. Really enjoyed our stay here. The stay are very welcoming and helpful.

Liked Great site the pitch was great fully servicable pitch secure site with key card barriers witch is great the toilets and showers were lovley and clean and staff were friendly and helpful

Disliked Tight getting in and out of pitches. Pay £5 a night electric only used £4.50 out of £10,and no refund, so paying for electric , you dont used

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked friendly staff lovely clean toilets and showers and peaceful site.

Disliked not enough shelter for tents on windy days in open field. noise from traffic on main road is a bit annoying.and i would have prefered to have been closer to town and beach and golf course. north shore site would have been more convenient. although they dont allow tents.

Local attractions

Wander, take the car, or get the bus that stops just across the road from Skegness Fields to seaside town Skegness for days of coast and sand. The beach, sea and pier will likely be many folks' first stops (probably followed by a bag of hot fish and chips or an ice cream on the sands), but do take time too to get to the town's other top attractions, like the Natureland Seal Sanctuary and the fab and wild Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve just outside the centre. From Skegness, travel along the coast to Ingoldmells for a knuckle-tightening time at Fantasy Island, the mammoth amusement park with the world’s longest suspended rollercoaster and Europe’s longest looping rollercoaster. (A mammoth indoor market is also in town to totter to if you need to soothe yourself afterwards.) Other options around the sea and Lincolnshire are trips further along the coast to Sutton on Sea, Mablethorpe and on to Saltfleet, and inland to the walks and bike rides of the flat Wolds, or staggering under the weight of piles of newly purchased produce at Lincolnshire's market towns like Louth, Alford and Horncastle.
