Electric gravel motorhome pitch
Liked: An absolutely delightful campsite, as a solo traveller I felt very safe and secure. The converted shepherds hut shower/toilet is fantastic - super clean and that has to be one of the best campsite showers I've ever used! It's literally hotel quality in terms of pressure/temperature.
It's basic, as in there isn't a shop, but that was made clear on the website. And the wifi connection is really good.

Electric gravel motorhome pitch
Liked: That it was a small campsite with nice hardstanding pitches for campervans. Good facilities and a nice quiet area. 1 mile walk to Houghton which has a shop and 2 nice pubs.

Liked: The site is beautiful and well secluded, tucked away into its own little corner. The toilets and showers were really clean with lots of hot water. Good wifi connection too.
Disliked: The conifer plants outside the toilets - completely at odds with all the native planting elsewhere and completely unneeded, as far as I could work out. Hardly a problem though in terms of staying here!

Liked: Stayed with older children and family- superb site. Had to speak to Saffron and Glen regarding booking as we have a tiny caravan and they were delightful.
Fabulous views, quirky facilities that are lovely and clean.
Definitely will be booking again.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.
