Liked A Fantastic Stay at Kingfisher Meadow!
We stayed at Kingfisher Meadow in Herefordshire (conveniently nestled between Leominster and Hereford) just last week, and it was an absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish.
We camped in a large tent and found the entire site to be spacious, well-kept, and incredibly welcoming. One of the highlights for us was the fire engine disco—such a unique and fun touch that really brought everyone together in the evenings. It created a lively, friendly atmosphere where it was easy to meet and chat with other campers.
The staff were also exceptionally attentive—you could tell they genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great time. Whether it was helping with check-in or offering local tips, they were always approachable and kind.
Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like. The vibe was warm, relaxed, and inclusive. We’d absolutely recommend Kingfisher Meadow to anyone looking for a super friendly and memorable camping experience in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside.

100% the best night away we have had in a long time
Molly on-site touring caravan
Liked Absolutely loved our stay at the kingfisher meadow. The staff were so friendly, the atmosphere was lovely and yet we still had our own space. The bomb fire with the fire truck was just truly so special. Our 3 year old was able to be a kid and run and play in the park we went for a walk round the lake. She cried when we had to leave.
We've booked again. And we really can't wait to go in September
Woukd recommend this sight to everyone and anyone

Liked I liked everything really. We will be back for sure. The crazy glamping options were great, the site was maintained nicely and Darren was really friendly and helpful, and let us park our van alongside my sisters family who were glamping (in a fire engine!). The disco was completely unidirectional- loud on one side of the disco fire engine and quiet on the other- which was perfect for when we had to leave it. And they took requests for drum and bass tracks. The campfire was large and impressive. The toilet block and washing up area were good too, though the lighting in the women's was a little bit haphazard so take a torch just in case. When working, it was fine. The river nearby was gorgeous for jumping about in, the England Gate pub had a nice beer garden and the food was alright.
Disliked The only possible thing to say is the lack of hot shower- there are two cold outdoor showers by the toilet emptying thing, but they are public and very cold. A shower instead of one of the toilets in the toilet block would elevate it to the best campsite ever, I think.

Liked Family friendly space- really can let the kids run wild whilst still being safe and seen!
Little ones loved the fire engine disco, nothing like we'd seen before.
Disliked Wish I knew to bring marshmallows for the fire, that's it no complaints.
