The Secret Garden Touring Park, Cambridgeshire: Get back to nature at this small yet perfectly formed campsite located in the heart of the Fenlands, an area well known for its high quality coarse fishing. The site is situated within a private and secluded two-acre nature garden, which attracts a range of wildlife due to the variety of shrubs and flowers. There is a cosy wooden camping pod complete with a double sofa bed and roof window for gazing at the stars.  There is also a microbrewery onsite producing a range of ciders and ales that can be purchased along with local sausages at the site’s shop.

Prices for the camping pod which can sleep up to four start at £30 per night.  There is availability throughout July and August with a two-night minimum stay.

Onsite fishing for the avid angler in Lincolnshire from £10 per night…

Birchwood Fishing and Camping, Lincolnshire: You don’t need to travel far for the catch of the day at this camping-only site, which has two large fishing lakes onsite, both available for day fishing.  Fish include common carp, koi carp, ghost carp, mirror carp, crucian carp, rudd, tench and bream. The largest fish caught in the lake weighed a whopping 26lbs.  Set in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside, just on the outskirts of Skegness, the site offers modern shower and toilet facilities and dogs are welcome free of charge.

Prices for a non-electric grass pitch, suitable for a two-man tent, start from £10 per night for two adults.  There is availability throughout the summer.

For all levels - river fishing in Snowdonia from £17 per night…

Riverside Camping, Snowdonia: Located in the heart of Snowdonia on a sheltered loop of the River Seiont, this site offers excellent river fishing for sea trout, salmon and brown trout.
