Countryside sites close to urban days out should be among most people's very favourite things when having a holiday. And those that are near the sea and in sprawling pine forests shouldn't be far from the top of any list either, like comfy, modern and friendly Land's Hause Bungalows on Portugal's Silver Coast. It's in the pine forest of Pinhal de Leiria, four kilometres from the A8 and a short drive from the towns of Nazaré, Alcobaça and São Pedro de Moel. The site has up-to-date facilities, a swimming pool and a paddling pool, a gym and a supermarket. Eats and drinks are taken care of by the pool bar and an on-site restaurant serving continental breakfasts, fish specialties and fine samples of Portuguese cuisine. You'll probably be off to the beach at first light each morn, but if you're around on site during the day or evening, the Land's Hause Bungalows team arranges pool and table football tournaments as well as regular evenings for barbecues and karaoke. You could warble out a tune by the Beach Boys, perhaps…?

il y a 3 jours sur Google
Un des pires camping fait. En van pour une nuit, la réservation disant arrivée 14h mais la réception n'ouvre qu'à 16h. Emplacement libre près d'un bois d'eucalyptus avec grillage arraché par terre. Une seule borne d'électricité pourune dizaine de campeurs mais seulement 2 prises qui fonctionnent car les autres sont attachées. Les sanitaires sont horribles à la limite du fonctionnel. Pas de papier toilette et dégueulasses. Une douche sur 3 fonctionne et 1 seul WC pour les femmes. Idem côté hommes. Le chauffe eau à l'extérieur est branché à côté de l'eau pour un pauvre evier de vaisselle avec des câbles dangereusement mal en point.
La piscine est belle mais salle. Beaucoup de jeux pour enfants mais qui comportent de nombreux risques (ferraille cassée et rouillée, sol qui a des marches qui dépassent et cassées...).. pas de poubelles à proximité.
Des chiens font un vacarmes infernales.. nuit difficile 😓
38e pour 2 personnes un van et un chien. C'est du vol. Autant ne pas prendre de camping

Disliked: Everything else!!
This place needs some serious upgrade, the showers and toilets were disgusting, rusty and smelly. The pool showers were even worst! The swimming pools were filthy and need attention.the bar was expensive We left early as couldn’t stand any more. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Liked: La tranquilidad del lugar ideal para descansar y desconectar y la proximidad a las playas de la costa de Portugal.

Disliked: El camping está muy mal mantenido y muy sucias sus instalaciones: aseos, duchas, baños, sin ninguna dotación, ni papel, …
Todo muy viejo y desordenado.
El restaurante también poco apetecible, personal poco profesional y muy caro para lo que ofrecía.
En definitiva un camping para no volver!!

Disliked: Campeggio ai limiti della legalità con gestione pessima. Pochi servizi, sporchi e tenuti malissimo (nell’area campeggio c’è un solo bagno ed è tenuto in condizioni pietose). Personale poco accogliente e poco professionale gestito da una specie di boss del narcotraffico che tratta malissimo i sottoposti urlando continuamente nei pressi della reception.

Disliked: Baños, por decir algo, con tazas turcas y demás… que en tres dias no limpiaron, la zona de Bungalows, muy bien, pero la de acampada, un desastre, con mosquitos enormes y dos ponis que lo pobres nadaban en su propia mierda… 200€ por dos noches… un auténtico tomo. No

Local attractions

Land's Hause Bungalows is well placed for holidaymakers to investigate the best gems of the Costa de Prata or Silver Coast, and is about six kilometres away from the nearest beaches at São Pedro de Moel. São Pedro de Moel is a tiny beach community and seaside village, with a legendary lighthouse, a chapel and a museum. Venture onto the Volta dos Sete/Round of Seven from here, a seven-kilometre wander around the sea, beach, pine forest, parks and streams. Seven kilometres from base is the fishing town of Nazaré, one of the Costa de Prata's best-known seaside resorts and with three main communities: beachside Praia, the old cliffside village of Sítio and Pederneira, an old village set on a hilltop. Hail the Nazaré Funicular, a funicular railway, to get between Praia and Sítio. There are long sandy beaches at Nazaré and record-breaking waves for surfing. About 22 kilometres away, have a day trip to Alcobaça: there's loads to see in this handsome little city, with the top picks being the Cistercian monastery (get someone to tell you the gruesome tale of Pedro and Inês there), the Monday market and the nature reserve Parque Natural das Serras de Aire e Candeeiros to the city's south.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
