Liked: freundliches Personal, Shuttlebus zum Bahnhof und zurück, Toiletten und Duschen sauber, etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Stellplätze schattig mit Stromanschluss, Pool nicht genutzt aber mit Schwimmaufsicht, Ruhe auf Campingplatz eingehalten

Disliked: Treppenstufen zu den Waschplätzen aus Beton und teilweise abgeplatzt und beschädigt, sollten erneuert werden, außerhalb Campingplatz nachts noch Hundegebell zu hören

Liked: Wir würden sehr sehr freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen. Sehr gute Verständigung in Deutsch oder Englisch. Die Anlage ist schön gemacht und wir hatten eine ruhige Zeit im Mai, nicht viel los und konnten den Stellplatz aussuchen. Der Shuttle fährt alle 2 Stunden zum nächsten Bahnhof, von wo aus man in 20 Minuten direkt in Rom ist. Shuttletransfer ist im Preis enthalten.
Das Restaurant ist auch sehr gemütlich und einladend. Essen&Trinken ist preislich momentan einfach überall utopisch.
Wir würden auch ein zweites Mal dort buchen.

Disliked: Die Sanitäranlagen werden zwar jeden Tag geschraubt, könnten dennoch etwas sauberer sein.

Liked: Very easy to find and we’ll sign posted once near the site ,toilet shower blocks were very clean and always instant hot water ,onsite restaurant was very good with great friendly staff ,free shuttle bus to the nearest train station was just perfect very easy to get straight into Rome

Liked: We’ve been travelling around Italy for a month and this is one of the best campsites by far. It is clean and lush with greenery, the showers are excellent and included in the price, so is the shuttle bus to the station for Rome central. The WiFi worked better than most sites we’ve experienced and the laundry facilities were the cheapest at €3.50. The restaurant was really good, especially the pizza and Campari spritz. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Five stars!

Check-In und Check-Out unkompliziert.
Shuttlebus nach Rom.

Disliked: Sanitäranlagen sind in die Jahre gekommen und werden nicht gepflegt. Keine Klobrillen und kein Papier auf allen Toiletten.
Waschbecken und Spülbecken eklig und verkalkt. Duschen ebenfalls. Schimmelbefall.

Local attractions

Rome and Lake Bracciano are the main attractions around this lovely landscape, both with enough to do to keep you busy for yonks. Among the main highlights in Rome are the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Vatican City and St Peter's Basilica, but you'll find a vast amount of ancient architecture to see among its old streets, squares and public parks. Art is a huge deal here too, as showcased at the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, the MAXXI museum and the National Gallery of Modern Art, while threads fans have plenty to pick from among the posh clothing boutiques along the Via dei Condotti. You may be keen for a break after all that… so take the bus from Prima Porta metro station to the beaut waters of Bracciano, one of Italy's biggest lakes and now a protected area making up the Bracciano-Martignano Regional Natural Park. Lake activities include canoeing, scuba diving, sailing and swimming; above the water, have a potter around the handsome old town of Bracciano and its medieval castle of Orsini-Odescalchi. Closer to the site, 10 minutes by car will take you to the huge Museo Civico di Zoologia or civic zoo museum with over five million exhibits, next to the Bioparc zoo. Within about 20 minutes' drive, the Santuario Etrusco dell'Apollo archaeological site is a famed Etruscan shrine with tombs and a temple in spectacular setting.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 1 day(s) of arrival.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.
The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Bookings must not be for more than 21 consecutive nights.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Pool

Only park guests are authorized to use the pool.
Some facilities require the wearing of swim caps.

Reception

Reception is open from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. between 05/01 and 09/30.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to noon and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. between 10/01 and 04/30.
Reception is unmanned after 8 p.m.. Please inform the park while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time so that the team can provide information about your unit/site.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Sites

Units should not be left unoccupied unless previously agreed with the management. Please speak to reception when the need arises, a fee may be charged for unsupervised units.
You must follow management instructions when setting up your tent/rig and related equipment.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
No cars/motorcycles at the site. All cars must be parked in the designated area.
No vehicle movement between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
The car is only included in the rate if you are traveling with a camper, trailer tent or tent. Cars are not permitted when traveling with a motorhome/RV.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must leave the premises by 11 p.m..
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
