As settings for an Ardèche family holiday go, this one stands out for both its location and its list of facilities, which are geared towards making everything convenient and fun for families. Camping Parc Saint Sauvayre is a nine-hectare site in a natural area about a kilometre from the village of Vagnas – a convenient spot that's also in a peaceful position well away from the crowds. Filling your days with outings should be straightforward for guests here, as you’ll have easy access to popular spots like Vallon Pont d’Arc (15 minutes’ drive away), the Gorges de l’Ardèche and Chauvet caves, along with attractions like an animal park and an adventure park. And filling time on site should be easy enough, too, with a list of leisure facilities that’s lengthy without being overwhelming. Kids can play at the playground and bouncy castle or splash about at the paddling pool. There’s also a lovely heated swimming pool on site, plus games of table tennis and pétanque (or board games to borrow if you need some quiet time). Close by, the village’s tennis court and basketball court are available for guests to use, and there are plenty of places to get out nearby for a walk or a mountain bike outing. However you choose to fill your time, back at base there’s a bar and snack bar for cool drinks and something to eat; you can also get fresh bread delivered here if you order the night before. On Friday nights in July and August guests gather for a themed meal and live music; at other times you might well meet fellow guests while cooking your dinner at the barbecue area.

Accueil de la gérante qui nous a détaillé les visites potentielles
Piscine bienvenue .
Nous avons fait une descente en kayak sous le Pont d'Arc, légendaire.
Et l'Aven d'Orgniac , magnifique.

Disliked: Emplacement pas très horizontal mais de bonne taille.
Bruyant avec une population bavarde et matinale de campeur du nord pendant notre séjour.
Une petite épicerie serait bienvenue car loin du village sans voiture.
C sûr que la prochaine fois , j'aimerai un camping avec accès direct a l'Ardèche selon mon budget.

Liked: Good size pitches, very friendly staff, bar and restaurant (although we didn't use) and great size pool.

Disliked: Very basic facilities, toilets and showers were dark and in need of updating.

La tente safari salle vaisselle plein de crotte de souris voir même rat
Plein de toile d araignée partout
Nous avions réservé pour 2 nuit nous sommes rester qu'une nuit et nous avons dormi dans la voiture .

Local attractions

If you like to pack lots of action into your break, you’ve come to the right place – you can take canoes down the Ardèche (10 minutes’ drive), go paddleboarding (15 minutes) or tour the area on horseback (half an hour). There are lots of excellent hiking/biking routes around this scenic area too, with some nearby companies offering guided hikes. And if that’s not enough excitement, you may like instead to sign up for canyoning, climbing and paragliding activities. On a slightly less intrepid scale, kids can have a taste of adventure on the treetop course at Accrobranche Indy Parc (five minutes). For something a little on the gentler side, try a visit to Parc Animalier des Gorges de l’Ardèche (five minutes) to meet the farm animals, explore medieval Château des Roure (five minutes) or go underground to see the subterranean caves at Aven d’Orgnac (15 minutes). Chauvet Cave 2 (15 minutes) is also worth a trip to see the reconstructed prehistoric paintings.

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
