A stay spent splashing under the Provence sun can be had at Domaine de La Roudelière, a site with a large aqua park including a separate pool for smaller paddlers and a wooden sundeck to seek shade under straw parasols. Once a week, this area’s all lit up and stays open past the dusky hours for nocturnal plunges – plus other entertainment like soirées and karaoke are organised every seven days or so too. When hefty swim sessions cause empty stomachs, a snack bar’s on site for light meals, drinks and ice creams beside the water’s edge. And if the idea of having fresh French bread and pastries for brekkie triggers a firm oui from you, just order what you want a day in advance... For dins, roam on over to reception and quiz the friendly team for suggestions on where to eat in Signes, the nearest village at less than a five-minute walk away. Taken by trees and alpine lands in general? This commune’s considered the most wooded in the Var department and is at the bottom of the Sainte-Baume massif for scenic strolls. Thrillseeking adventures can also be added to the agenda when at this Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur site: it’s a 10-minute drive from the Circuit Paul Ricard, where the Formula 1 Grand Prix and Bol d'Or is often held, and is just under 20 from the cowboy-themed OK Corral amusement park for zooming around on rollercoasters. For more sedate times with the kids the animals at ZOA Park zoo are 30 minutes away.

Local attractions

This area’s known for paragliding, so those who want to sail through the skies can do so with the help of an activity provider a five-minute drive from the site. Cantering is close by too, as horse-riding stables with lessons and courses are 15 minutes away; for sips rather than trips, a vineyard for tours and tastings of French wine is less than a 20-minute car journey from the site. A little further along leads to the Côte d'Azur for beaches by the dozen: try Bonnegrâce (a 40-minute drive) to swim under the bright blue water and La Pradet (45 minutes) to skim on its surface by boat, paddleboard or kayak. For other ways to take on the outdoors, the spiky seaside massifs, fab fishing towns and stunning coastal trails of the Calanques National Park are an hour and five minutes’ drive; shoreline touring can also be had on boat rides from Toulon (40 minutes) towards Porquerolles island where one can meander around a monastery and nature reserve.

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.
