Petite plaine de jeux en plein millieu, pratique pour surveiller les enfants.

Disliked Pas d'électricité sur tous les emplacements, mon câble était heureusement assez long pour traverser trois parcelles mais le jour du départ, un camping car était garé dessus.

Liked Beautiful setting, in beautiful countryside. Very warm welcome from the owners. Clean facilities. They have a lovely play area for children as well as a large pond.

Liked Spacious pitch with electricity and water
facilities a bit dated but fully functional and clean
Playground for kids
Quiet area
No problem walking the dogs.
Close to Calais

Someone complained about the showers and missing toilet paper: please be informed that in France, it is standard to bring your own toilet paper… Concerning the shower, I was asked several times whether or not I needed coins.

So both points for me are not really valid.

Disliked A supermarket or boulangerie within walking distance would have been nice, so perhaps you could have that as part of the reception in the future

Liked Owners fantastic even though Father didn't speak a word of English. Very grateful my wife spoke some French.

Disliked Pitchup doesn't tell the whole story. Toilets and shower very basic. Not even toilet paper. Come on that's not difficult. Pay for a shower is not on really considering its only 5 mins. Never saw the showers toilets being cleaned. The electric is very hit and miss. The pitches are not level or mowed. A really tired site but with great potential with a bit of work and TLC.

Liked Besitzerin spricht Englisch und ist sehr freundlich, sehr bemüht bei Fragen. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und großzügig angelegt. Die Stellplätze sind groß, besitzen Wasser und Stromanschluss. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sauber und gepflegt. Alles in ausreichendem Maße vorhanden. Es gibtveinen Spielplatz für Kinder und einen kleinen Teich. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und zum runterkommen.Wir haben die Tage hier sehr genossen.

Liked Nice informal site, really friendly owners, well maintained, nice toilet block with amazing ceiling

Disliked Only one person on the site speaks English so if you struggle with french you may have issues

The military exhibits in the enormous former bunker at Blockhaus d’Eperleques (20 minutes) and Dunkirk’s Operation Dynamo museum are two top picks; if you’re really into the subject, it’s worth the hour’s trip to the coastal batteries and Museum of the Atlantic Wall at Audinghen. If it’s wind and the water you want, make for Gravelines (half an hour) where there’s kitesurfing and kayaking to be had, or head into the Platier d’Oye nature reserve 40 minutes away for walks through a dune ecosystem visited by egrets, osprey and black and white storks. For town pursuits, Dunkirk’s zoo and contemporary art museum add a bit of colour to a shopping trip, and it’s just over an hour to the attractive city of Lille, where the paintings in the Palais des Beaux-Arts compete for your attention with the Art Deco ‘skyscraper’ and a massive antiques market. Feeling competitive? There’s paintballing at Teteghem (half an hour), go-karting at Gravelines, and just over the border in Belgium, a whole load of laughs, shrieks and thrills on the rides of the Plopsaland theme park (40 minutes).
