- Spacious ensuite bell tents in a peaceful Tarn oak forest
- A 15-minute drive to Gaillac; half an hour to Albi
- Massages, e-bike hire and evening meals available; breakfast included
A peaceful setting, comfortable accommodation, gourmet breakfasts, relaxing massages, forest bathing… sound like the kind of chilled-out experience you're after? Take yourselves off to the Tarn region and a stay at Eco Ceiba, hidden away in an oak forest about five minutes' drive from Busque.
As the name suggests, this is a place that’s committed to preserving its wonderful natural surroundings – around the site you’ll probably note various eco-friendly features such as renewable energy and natural local materials. It’s also a place that encourages you to slow down and leave modern life behind for a while, so while there is wifi available on site there are also disconnect boxes for those who would benefit from some guaranteed gadget-free time.
On the accommodation front, everything here has been designed with true comfort in mind – each of the spacious bell tents has comfy beds (made up for your arrival), an ensuite bathroom (with towels) and a private terrace where you can relax and soak up the serene atmosphere.
Breakfast is provided in your rate, and delivered to your tent each morning; for evening meals you can join fellow guests at the guinguette or order dinner hampers for a cosy meal outside your tent. Along with those hampers there are several other ways to boost your break here – perhaps you’d like to book a massage or hire an electric bike to ride along the lovely green forest trails…

Local attractions
You could certainly spend a fair amount of time on site here, or perhaps using bikes (your own or hired on site) to pedal off to local villages to pick up tasty cheeses, charcuterie, fruit and other bits from shops and markets. There are a few wineries within a 20-minute drive as well, for tastings and the chance to pick up a bottle for your evening back at base.
Looking just a little further afield, you could delve into the area’s ancient history at Centre Archéologique de Montans (10 minutes’ drive), walk among the gorgeous blooms at Les Jardins des Martels (20 minutes) or take a wander around Gaillac (15 minutes), an attractive town with a castle, fine arts museum and miniature train museum.
If you don't mind a slightly longer journey, you could spend the day visiting the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum and UNESCO-listed sites in Albi (half an hour), take in the Goya Museum and Palais Épiscopal in Castres (40 minutes) or climb to the hilltop village of Cordes-sur-Ciel (45 minutes) for fabulous views over the area.
