Quiet time, cicadas and the gentle knell of distant cowbells are the vibe at this coastal Corsica retreat; parting this place is sure to be such sweet sorrow indeed. But don't think about that just yet – think instead about the spectacular sea views, the long stretch of sandy beach that lies in front, and the fably friendly owners. Camping Europa Beach is spread across four hectares of semi-wooded parkland and overlooked by Monte San Petrone and a constellation of villages and hamlets. It's between the Costa d'Oru and the wooded hills of the Castagniccia region, with walks along vast stretches of coastline available direct from site. Lined with mimosas, alders, pines and eucalyptus trees that provide pitches with welcome shade, the park is home plenty of birdlife to look out for as you hang around in the hammock during long lazy afternoons. It's a peaceful place too, far away from main roads but under 40 minutes' drive from the old port city of Bastia. Activity options are well sorted: ping pong tables, billiards, pétanque, table football and pedalos are all here as well as plenty of space for kids to play and among the trees and on the sand. Yoga classes are also available as an extra way to unwind. For eats and drinks, seek out the small but well-stocked mini market or mosey on over to the restaurant: if you're lucky, the owners might even catch and prepare a fish or two for you.

Disliked De camping op zich. Gewoon 1 dorre vlakte, niks te doen. Dat deze camping zoveel sterren krijgt snap ik niet. Misschien in het hoogseizoen maar voor deze tijd half juni. Sorry

Nous avons des clients qui sont très satisfaits et qui reviennent chaque année ! Peut-être n'êtes vous pas faite pour le camping ! Il y a de très beaux hôtels en Corse ! Evidemment le prix n'est pas le même !
Vous m'avez dit en partant que le camping était trop tranquille et calme, et que vous préférez le bruit, mais nos clients préfèrent la sérénité !
Il aurait peut-être fallu revoir votre réservation et réserver dans un camping avec plus de cris.
Evidemment, ce n'est pas le même tarif !
Quand au camping aride, regardez un peu la météo.
Dommage, nous vous souhaitons tout de même de passer d'agréables vacances, de respecter notre île et de profiter de nos traditions.

Liked Sehr ruhig. Sehr naturverbunden. Sehr freundliche und jhilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Sehr schöner Strand und sehr sauberes Wasser.
Sanitäranlagen einfach und in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und in gutem Zustand.

Disliked Leider nur Versorgung mit Baguettes und Croissants und Getränken.
Kein warmes Wasser zum Abwasch.

Disliked Owner was somewhat disorganized, couldn't find our reservation for a long time, had to check online, and on the next day when I went to retrieve my ID he again couldn't find it for a long time

Disliked La posizione purtroppo non è delle migliori, ci vogliono circa 30 minuti per raggiungere Bastia. L’igiene dei bagni carente.

Marguerite cabin

Liked Il Camping Europa Beach è un’oasi molto tranquilla, si trova in un’ottima posizione, immerso in un bosco di profumati eucalipti a ridosso della spiaggia, dalla quale ci si può godere meravigliose albe al mattino e fantastiche lune rosse sorgere dal mare la sera. Le dune alle spalle della spiaggia sono costellate di profumatissimi e bellissimi gigli bianchi. La spiaggia è molto lunga e totalmente libera, questo permette che tra i bagnanti ci sia a ampio spazio (impagabile rispetto ai carnai e alle distese di lidi privati di altre località). I bungalow sono dotati di tutto quello che serve, compreso condizionatore, anche se l’arredamento è un po’ datato (evenienza che non costituisce comunque un problema). La posizione del campeggio è comoda anche per eventuali escursioni in giornata, come ad esempio la cittadella di Bastia o i molteplici stagni salati facenti parte dei parchi naturalistici immersi nella macchia mediterranea disseminati lungo la costa orientale della Corsica e meta di diverse specie di uccelli migratori tra cui fenicotteri rosa e altri.
Il proprietario Roland e il suo staff sono persone molto a modo, gentili e disponibili per ogni necessità.
In definitiva, per il tipo di vacanza a me consona (mare, relax, silenzio e poca folla in spiaggia) questa è la vacanza ideale e seppur per pochi giorni, mi sono sentita quasi come in famiglia.

Disliked Mi piacerebbe che ci fosse il minimarket in campeggio, così da evitare di dover prendere l’auto per recarsi al supermercato più vicino. Sarebbe perfetto se venisse riaperto il ristorante e che ci fosse un minimo di animazione per i ragazzi (non troppa che mi devo rigenerare dalla frenesia della città 🤣)

Merci pour votre avis, néanmoins nous sommes surpris de vos notes. Il aurait préférable de venir nous voir d'autant plus que nous parlons allemand ca aurait été plus facile.
Pour information, nous avons la wifi et elle est gratuite pour tous nos clients. Son code d'accès est affiché sur le check-in desk. Dommage il fallait nous demander ou mieux regarder les affiches. Vous devriez consulter les autres avis de nos clients, leurs notes est bien plus hautes ! Bonne continuation

Liked Endroit calme et très grand grand, ou l’on peut choisir nous même notre emplacement. Proche de la plage (5min a pied via le camping).
Personnel très sympathique!

Disliked Les sanitaires ne sont pas entretenus, ni par le personnel ni par les utilisateurs.
Peu de bornes électriques, il faut avoir une très grande rallonge (le personnel prête du matériel à la réception si besoin).

Marguerite cabin

Liked Se cerchi la tranquillità, se hai animali e bambini, questo è il posto giusto. Il campeggio è rustico, alla buona, ma c'è tanto spazio libero in mezzo al verde e le spiagge sono enormi, non ci sono stabilimenti balneari, semideserte, ideali per i cani e anche per i bimbi perché l'acqua è bassa.

Local attractions

An equestrian centre and tennis courts lie 500 metres from base. Walks are easy to access from the site too; for hikes further afield, you can reach the forested slopes and winding river valleys of Castagniccia in about 40 minutes by car. As well as 40 per cent of the island being covered in the Corsica Regional Nature Park, there's history aplenty to be found among its archaeological sites and museums: travel across the island and have a wander around the museums in Corte, Bastia, and Ajaccio to learn about the history of the island and one of its most famed former residents, a certain N Bonaparte. A short drive north along the coast will take you to the spectacularly characterful old port town of Bastia; in addition to moseying around the port, make sure you visit the vibrant neighbourhoods of Terra Vecchia and Terra Nova to explore their historic streets and neat little boutiques.
