Camping Le Drennec

Liked The campsite is located in an idyllic spot next to the lake, that has a man made beach with safe swimming. Theres also a nice lakeside restaurant and water sports for hire. You can order fresh bread for deliver the next morning. It's all in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees so many pitches are shaded. The owners are lovely and helpful and there's always someone on site. Toilets and showers are cleaned regularly. It really is a lovely site

Liked le camping a un esprit familial hyper appréciable, nous avons séjourné dans la petite forêt et c’était super ! le lac est un vrai plus pour profiter lors des fortes chaleurs

Liked Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques.
Le lit était fait , très confortable.

Nous avons pris des burgers le soir , ils étaient délicieux! et prix très raisonnable (12 euros).

Liked Relaxed atmosphere nice location and site has all needed amenities. We had burgers from the snack shack which were amazing home made and delicious. Ordered croissants and pan au chocolat for breakfast which was lovely.
Very close to the lake which has a level walk way all the way round and plant of beach areas to play and swim from lots of campers had brought paddle boards, canoes and there dogs.
Great first night on our road trip to Spain.

Nearby restaurant was great and access to watersports was good.

Disliked Toilets and showers were dirty. I know this is a woodland site so there's muck underfoot that gets tramped in, but sinks and showers were not kept clean - hair everywhere.
No driers - whole site is shaded because it's wooded, so towels etc don't dry when hung out - being near a watersport centre you'd think that this would be a priority.
Nowhere to empty chemical toilet which is a serious flaw. We took ours with us to next site, but expect some folk just emptied into the ordinary toilets.

From the manager: Hi Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you would not visit us again. We do get many returns each year from customers who love the site. Out toilets are cleaned morning lunch and evening and we hope that our campers leave them as they would like to find them. If you have a problem in the sanitary block you are welcome to come and find one of us and we would resolve it for you. We cannot accept chemical waste as we are not on mains drains and have a septic tank due to the location. This is clearly stated on pitch up. We are a basic site and don't have a star rating, our facilities reflect that.

Liked ruhiger, naturbelassener Platz nahe am See, nachts ist absolute Ruhe (bis auf die Tiere die vorbeikommen) und Dunkelheit- einfach toll in Mitten der Natur.
Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen.
